Get the right shoes for YOUR feet
I love keen the wide toe box makes it so I do not need to order wide shoes and I have a wide foot. I got these as my sneakers were not cutting it anymore and I noticed my feet felt best when I was wearing my Keen hiking boots. So I bought these in the hopes my foot pain from my bunion on my left big toe would go away. It seems to be working. My feet feel better every day and I attribute it to these shoes which properly fit my feet. Toe box is narrow in most sneakers and I could care less when I was younger. But now that I am older, I am pleased with my choice. Also Keen products are extremely durable and well made as I am hell on stuff. I am also cheap and know these are expensive. In my opinion based on what these are doing for me they are worth the price.

Great waterproof hiking shoes
I have the same model with mid height, which has a wide toe box, waterproof and comfortable. I like it so much that I bought this low height version. It is very well build as expected. Just for some reason the fit is a bit loose then the mid version. Hence deducting one star. Still a great show for hiking and traveling.

High quality, good value, especially for wide feet
Great shows, hold up really well as I hike up mountains a LOT with and the tread is still good. They are waterproof to the part by the ankle, I walk through snow with them and my feet stay warm. The only thing is my feet are wide at the top and I tend to bust out the seams in that are, which it just started to bust the seam on one shoe after about a hundred miles of rough hiking, but shoe goo came to the rescue and no more problem.

My Feet Are Dry!
I've had them for a few months. I live in the wet Pacific Northwest. My feet are dry! They are comfy. I swapped out the factory cushion to one recommended by my podiatrist and I was off trekking. The toe caps are heavy rubber. I've bonked them on lots of stuff and my toes didn't get hurt, yay. I tie them pretty loosely and they're still stable. They were a little squeaky but a little talcum powder between the cushion and the shoe ended that. You may not even have that problem with the factory cushions.

Cost cutting model for sure
Good overall but a step down from Targhee 3. They even made the inserts thinner. I pulled the inserts from a pair of Targhee 3 to put in these because they are almost twice as thick. And these are suede instead of leather. It's definitely a price cutting model compared to the 3 series.
