Don’t buy Eufy, buy Reolink instead!
Brilliant bit of kit. We first bought a similar Eufy doorbell and were intensely disappointed with the poor battery life, poor app with limited zoning features, and either constant false motion notifications or failure to detect relevant events. We chose to return the Eufy doorbell and try this Reolink one and it’s now like night and day. The Reolink doorbell has been consistently good. No more false alarms, better detection, better picture quality, better battery life (ours has been in use for almost a month and still has over 50% battery on a single charge!), and a much more intuitive and customisable app as well. The only downside is that you will need to purchase a separate chime for the doorbell if you don’t already have a compatible one, which will increase the overall price, but I’d say the quality you get is absolutely worth it.

Great cloud free doorbell cam.
Great video quality and noise reduction works great to filter out a busy road. can show packages and faces and when combined with a chime alerts you to someone at your door before they ring the bell. Easy to set up with the mobile app and guides you through everything. can be powered from existing doorbell wiring to save having to charge. If connected to a nvr or with a sd card installed no need for a subscription and no need to store your footage on the cloud. cons: Battery only lasts about a week so if you don't have doorbell wiring in place already you will have to charge it every week. I have since replaced it with the poe version as I kept forgetting to charge but the poe doorbell has a different lens and doesn't catch as much on the ground. If you are deciding between wireless or poe, Wireless is quicker to instal and has a better camera but needs charging. Poe needs wiring back to the nvr camera doesn't cover the floor as well. But doesn't need charging and comes with a chime. Usability with both is the same with great detection and easy to use app.

Reolink doorbell WiFi version.
Easy to install, easy to read and understand the information booklet. I have given the doorbell battery a full charge prior to mounting. I was concerned at first that a thief might find it easy to remove the device but in the booklet tells yo how to release the device from bracket, don't loose the tool inside the box, as this is needed to help remove the device. On setting up the device for the first time, the device asks you for WiFi address and password followed by setting up the individual device password for extra security. The quality of the build is very strong and robust. Good sound and video quality on playback. On playback mode you can filter for either; vehicles, people and parcels. PIR detection is really good for motion detection. On night time playback on black and white video, really good quality. Overall really good doorbell, really quick at response time from the camera detection of a vehicle, person or parcel to the Reolink app and video calling through the app. I brought this on a really good deal, so for me value for money is really good. Highly recommend this device.

Not a video doorbell, just a camera sending notifications!
I bought this to replace my Ring doorbell following the hiking of their monthly charge. As I have numerous Reolink cameras connected to a Reolink NVR it made sense to get a Reolink video doorbell, big mistake! My idea of a video doorbell is one that 'rings' the phone when the button is pressed - allowing the user to immediately connect with the caller and see them on the screen. This doorbell will only send a basic push notification to the phone, which the user must then interact with to get it to open the Reolink app and connect the video stream. Yes - it can send a 'rich' notification (just a basic notification with a picture) if you subscribe to their monthly plan. Functionality is then reduced even further if the doorbell is connected to NVR, meaning to get the best out of it one has to run it as a standalone camera and use a MicroSD card in the camera for recording events. If Reolink make a doorbell that 'rings' the phone when the doorbell is pressed (as most other video doorbell's do) then I may try it again, but for now it's being returned as unsuitable.

Fantastic Piece of kit ... but ...
Great piece of kit for the money Great picture quality Only problem is, it does not record to the NVR like the nomal (non1:1) doorbells do. Yes this can be sorted with the SD card but still a nice feature to have with the others.

Ok
We have used the Poe version of this doorbell along with our existing Reolink cctv.We have recently moved house and have not yet had time to install our cctv so we thought we would try this.We have 5ghz WiFi and it is still slow so notifications are delayed then we click on the notification it takes ages to load. It has not detected my daughter coming in from work in the early hours on several occasions. Battery life seems to be ok so far. This camera would be ok for someone that has not used Poe before but compared to the WiFi the Poe wins hands down.

One of the best doorbell with features never seen in other doorbells but... But there is a problem which i am discussing with Reolink is that this new 2k doorbell the below don't work which maybe a new firmware needed of a but with the current application need to be updated. 1. Says format successfull but SD Card still not formated. 2. Album shows empty so you can not delete unwanted captures. 3. Wide view doesn't work it flips but picture still small n not Wide. The rest is 100% perfect 👌 and the best of that u can limit the detection area so card and people passing far are not detected, the detection will tell if it's a person or a car. I may return this product becuse Amazon seems they couldn't fix my problem because the DoorBell was from Germany

Good: No cloud subscription, works with existing chimes, easy to install, camera is of adequate quality. Seems to drip charge off the existing wiring. Supports a wide range of voltages from the wiring. Bad: Really needs better API and integration possibilities (for example to work with Home Assistant, or Apple HomeKit - to do that you need the Reolink hub). Notifications seem really hit and miss, sometimes we get them, sometimes we don't, sometimes we get too many - at least the doorbell always works. App is the usual badly developed poor UX from China nonsense. It's a little too easy to remove.

This product delivers exactly as advertised, and even exceeds expectations in some areas. For me, the standout feature is the exceptional battery life. It lasts so long that I honestly can’t remember the last time I charged it—easily two months or more between full charges. That’s a huge improvement over my previous device from a well-known brand, which required much more frequent charging. Overall, I’m very impressed.
