I recently got my hands on the Topdon TS004 Thermal Monocular and I have to say, it's pretty impressive for its price range! Designed for outdoor adventures, wildlife spotting, and even some professional use, this little gadget packs a punch. So this is the best deal on the market for thermal monoculars it really is. The unit works pretty good battery life is acceptable good refresh rate and clarity. The app is kinda cheesy and I wouldn't bother with it personally. But the product is quality. My only reservation comes from my own expectations, I kinda thought it would be like in the movies and stuff but it's not. You can't really see through much of anything, except Maybe where the 2x4s are inside your walls because they store heat. But your not going to see a person in the other side of a door or anything like that. Umm. You should avoid looking at people below the belt because yea you can see the heat signature of what's body and what's clothes. As far as tactical use, it's got great zoom and works well on that regard as a spotters scope, but the field of view is a bit too narrow for using it like indoors to see a burglar in the dark. Alot of stuff has heat in it which can make it hard to tell what something is if there is a cinder block wall behind it.

This monocular is so cool. I could see a herd of deer about a quarter mile away and you could see them moving it even measures the distance from the item you’re looking at it is well-made and very rugged. I like that it has a quarter 20 screw mount on the bottom. It appears with the phone real easy and you can record video or pictures. I’ll wear glasses and sometimes it’s hard to see through binoculars or monoculars. This unit has an adjustment on the side to adjust the focus inside the viewport which helped me a lot. Out to 150 yards or so you can easily identify a deer. Or a dog. Past that you can tell there is something warm but not a clear image. Still it very good. Up closer the image is much sharper. Great tool for keeping tabs on my local coyote population.

I ordered the TS004 at the same time that I ordered a "GOYOJO Thermal Imaging Monocular for Hunting, 15mm Focal Lens 256x192" monocular. The TS004 arrived first and while I was really pleased with the build quality and especially the view through the large screen, I was still leaning towards the GOYOJO monocular because of the removeable battery. However, after the GOYOJO arrived, the quality of image isn't even close to what the TS004 has. Both are great at near distances, but the TS004 soundly beats it in every way at any kind of distances past about 10 yds. While I sincerely wish that the TS004 had a removable battery, I simply could not choose the GOYOJO considering the significantly better nighttime visibility and lighter weight of the TS004. I've already recommended this item to several family members and friends and know of at least two more that have been purchased based on my recommendations - it's truly that good. The TS004 simply hits far above its weight class (cost) when compared to others.

I bought it for a couple of reasons. I work in security at night, so I walk a dark 40 acre property in the dark. This allows me to see anyone on property without compromising my location it works amazing. The other reason is because I drive country roads late at night and I'm tired of hitting deer and other animals. The TS004 is perfect because it allows me to mount the camera outside of my vehicle and view on my phone. Only had it a week and it's already saved me from hitting wildlife twice. I totally recommend it. Wish I would have had this a long time ago. It would have saved me some costly repairs on my car.

For anyone thats seen some of my reviews you know i love everything night vision. I just got the Top Don thermal monocular. This thermal high definition and infrared camera is absolutely cool. With its waterproof design it already has my vote there. Anything i buy , i buy waterproof where i can. That coupled with the eleven hour battery life is such a bonus. It comes with a small case, but I'll get a molle case for it. T also comes with a USB C charging cable and small carry strap. The TS004 has a tripod base to make viewing comfortable, the diopter knob has a quality feel to it, and has the correct amount of resistance. That ensures no sudden bump will change the settings. The power button is green, so at night I'll put some tape over it . The camera , zoom and mode buttons are self explanatory. The fit and finish are excellent, i really like the colors too the OD green gives it that military look. The eye relief is pleasant to the eye and quite comfortable. The modes are very defined when looking at warmer objects. The white hot and black hot are my favorite, due to having been in the older M60 tanks, that were retro fitted with thermal vision. The fusion looks pretty cool as well. The red hot and bird watching modes are great too. There is also an app to use in conjunction with the device. The USB cord can be used to connect to a PC to download your saved pictures or videos. For this price point it sure does a lot. All in all I'm absolutely ecstatic about my purchase. I can't wait to get on some trails to use it. Who knows i might capture proof of Bigfoot 😊

Awesome little tool for hunters. Took it out to the farm this evening to test it out. Very pleased with quality! The deer in the picture are 200+ yards out. The range finger on it might as well be in feet and not yards, way off. The thermal itself is amazing, especially for the price I paid. Definitely recommend to farmers and hunters. Time to test on rabbit and raccoon soon.
