Maggi Rio All in One 4G Food Processor Attachment & Coconut scrapper (Universal)

If you are the type of unwilling to compromise on features and options it becomes a laborious task to get to that right product after scrutinizing zillion models and brands, choosing a food processor is no different. After I used all the features and options available for more than a month now thought of sharing my experience and especially to cover any additional points which are not already shared in the previous helpful reviews. Why I selected this. 1 Unique coconut scrapper attachment. 2 Already had a mixer grinder and wanted to reduce my carbon footprint during the upgrade. 3 Cost effective. 4 Direct drive 5 Comes with french fries blade attachment (this will be useful to chop veggies which otherwise get cut in very small pieces when we use the regular chopping blade option and not careful while inching the motor) Now some additional info on the coconut scraper attachment. I was skeptical on it's efficacy after reading many reviews but then thought let me give this product a try, first attempt I was disappointed that it was slow and shredding was very fine, 2nd attempt, I used a cotton kitchen towel to wrap around the coconut shell for better grip and safety, this time I could easily direct more axial pressure without loosing the grip and the shredding was much coarser and quicker. 3 rd attempt I happen to buy a smaller coconut without my knowledge and discovered that the attachment works far better with small shell, it was very quick 30 seconds for entire half shell with coarse grating and that too without any towel business. But caution is watch for any stress on the unit or mixer, I felt like the attachment got further locked in to the speed reducing gear base beyond it's defined slot position due to the rotary load, but nothing happened to the unit and still working very fine as yet. Atta kneading worked well following the exact process in demo video, if the quantity is less we may have to just open the lid once or twice and move the lump in order for the kneading blade to catch up with if dough is sliding without contact to the blade, also if in case if we erred while adding water and it becomes messy add bit more dough (if you have not already put the flour up to it's rated capacity and there is still scope to add more) and that cleans up the wall again, saw this in some other brand video :-) All the other attachments worked perfectly well just as shown in their demo, also with regard to the slicing blade we can get thinner slice by leaving the veggies to fall by gravity and thicker ones by using the pusher to apply pressure on the veggies, I was having doubt on this part since I saw a brand offering 2 types of slicing blades and got the above clarification from the seller and the technique actually worked when I used. Plastic quality and noise, they are subjective, I saw all brands and models have complaints on these 2 aspects so unless manufacturers specify db levels and relevant specs to compare plastic jars it is difficult to assess whether we got a raw deal. In this product I felt both are reasonable and didn't find any mismatches of the attachment, blade quality issues or poor design etc. Over all I felt this was a good buying decision, really helps you cook much faster with ease and motivates to prepare healthy food at home especially in those tough decision making moments of choosing between your favorite restaurant and pain of preparing at home :-) Whether this or any food processor, even if it saves 10% of your effort or time, it's worth every penny, go for it ! It's a good product that turned my mixer grinder into a full fledged food processor. Has everything including a coconut scraper so no dependence upon the men. Everything else makes life easier too. Only issue is the jar is too flimsy. Looks easily breakable. Also capacity is less making it good for 2-3 member family. Assemly is a hassle to as to many products need to be assembled to make it work but it's still worth it because else I would have had to have bought a seperate food processor.

Best product for use and quality is little bit compromising and plz sell the single product also some time only one product is damaged we can’t buy whole product again and again so sell single products too

Service available only in Mumbai.If we have to get it repaired for any issue ..,we have to send the product. They don't arrange for pick up easily even though they have option .Customer service person is very unprofessional. Better to go for branded items with all inclusive than depending on these company for parts .

The coconut scraper alone is worth it. Its efficient and effective. Takes hardly a few minutes once you figure it out. The French fry slicer has been used a lot for potato fries! My air fryer is now getting full use! Shredding beetroot, slicing carrots all super fast, and very effective. Unit is quick to assemble and super easy to clean as well. If you have a heavy duty mixie, and think a food processor might be good - go for it! This is all for heavy duty Indian cooking for a daily of 7!

The main chopper blade is absolutely useless after few uses, can't even chop onions. Now a days I use it only for mixing cold butter and flour to make pie crust. Does not chop or grind anything properly. Other blades are ok. The two feeding inletd are small, so if you try to put a whole potatoe for cutting it for french fries, it's not possible. Sometimes I have to split zuchinnies and cucumber into 2 to 3 long pieces for slicing them as the feeder tube at the lid is narrow. Coconut grater is also not much use, too sloppy, leaves lots of coconut flesh back on the shell.

It is a good product for its price. But the processing jar provided with this is somewhat fragile. It may be broken if dropped harshly from height. However it can withstand miner drops. Atta kneading facility is very good. I made atta kneading in 90 seconds without oil and 60 seconds with oil. i.e. ours is rally 1 hp mixer. For lower varients it may take longer time. Chipping chops but product is not of uniform sizes. The cap provided with processing jar does not easily fit to the jar. If you make mistake, it will surely break. Coconut scraper is a good thing but one has to get used to the method of holding it. However it is safe attachment. Both traditional way of scraping with domestic wooden scraper and with this attachment take same duration for scraping. Sometimes the attachment takes more time, but it saves our energy. Cleaning is very easy. Slicer, shredding blades and french fries blades are good. Haven't tried others.

Working well on my Bosch truemix series grinder. Works like a charm for big family usage. Except finger to chips slicer attachment which does not give a standard size cut all other functions are working well as advertised. Including coconut scrapping dough kneader (pls be mindful of atta and water ratios). As mentioned earlier its good for large batches of cutting chopping and slicing needs as smaller batches cutting and chopping is not worthy to the cleaning work after usage. The blades are too sharp and sturdy for now so need some kitchen expertise to handle such processors else you may end up injuring youself. I think any typical or standard mixer with 4 slot coupler (like a plus sign) would work. Shophisticated models like the Panasonic mx series or six slot couplers may not work. I am using Bosch truemix (750 or 1000) series grinder but there are other advanced models in Bosch that may not work
