Affordable & excellent quality hearing aids
I don’t know if you can appreciate how good these hearing aids are if you haven’t used the expensive ones first. I had Resound for 6 years from Costco that cost $1700. They wouldn’t hold a charge & after 5 years could no longer be repaired. I decided to try the $399 Beyond OTC brand for the heck of it. Chose them because the Bluetooth capability included both iPad & Android. The software is really easy to use. I learn more about it every time I use it. There are 20 sound levels instead of 3. Also treble & base adjustments. Battery charge levels show. Also tinnitus masking. It’s really easy to switch between different Bluetooth connections like phone, iPad, car. I think the sound is really crisp & clear on every device. Had a problem with the L one popping out of my ear canal but added a bigger cone & it hasn’t popped out since. Extra cones are included with the order. I read a bunch of reviews that just confused me but decided to try these anyway because of the return policy. Really glad I did because I’m truly amazed that I can listen to all my devices with just one set of ear phones now. My online hearing test indicated “severe” hearing loss. Amazingly, they arrived and I had them charged & was wearing them in less than 24 hours from Amazon!

Great hearing aids for an affordable price!
I have been very pleased with these hearing aids. I've worn them for now 6 or 7 months. What I really like and is the game changer from other hearing aids I have tried, is that they are connected to blue tooth on my phone. When I get a phone call, I hear it in my hearing aids and no longer struggle to hear the caller. I can walk around and not have to hold my phone. I also can hear notifications from my phone as well. There seems to be a 500 to 1000ft connection. If I am not near my phone, I hear "Disconnected" which has reminded me fortunately a few times that I had forgotten my phone! It comes with many assorted rubber domes and cleaning tools. I like the domes with open holes, for clear hearing, not muffled. You do have to use the cleaning tool provided to clean wax. They sound muffled with wax build up. On the app, you can switch environments like general, TV and restaurant, changes how you hear in public places, also a game changer! Easy to change volume up and down with fingers or even on the app. They don't bother me once they are in my ear, and I sometimes forget that I am wearing them. The battery seems to last 8 to 10 hours and will tell you "Battery Low". So nice to be able to hear conversations and TV without having to turn up the volume. I do recommend, great price too!

Dramatic step up from voice amplifiers, worthh the extra money.
I have profound hearing loss in the left ear and significant loss in the right ear. I went to an audiologist for tests and bought expensive hearing aids that were almost useless, kept falling off, and just did not fit. I have purchased about half a dozen amplifiers. And none worked well. The Eaehear Beyond features a unique speaker-wire shape and an ear-dome design that fits snugly in the ear canal and stays there. The APP lets you control the volume and tone for each ear individually. Absolutely no squealing. It works with my cellphone, which I have not used to make calls for years. Setup is straightforward, but one caution: USE THE SUPPLIED CHARGING CABLE! I did not initially, and apparently, all C-type cables are not alike. Their customer service is prompt.

Best For The Price!!
just received these yesterday late in the day and fired them up as best as I could, charged them and used them at work today. What a game changer! I had been using cheap chinese site hearing amplifiers, they worked but just enough to get by on. I was on my last pair, they give up after awhile and wanted to get something good. I bought another set that cost $125 and one of them was bad out of the box. So they went back and I just finally gave in and ordered these. Some things just can't be done on the cheap. I had been looking at these and just didn't want to spend the money but these seem to be the best bang for your Buck. Everything else above these are like $600 to $900. So using these today and WOW.. There is a hearing aid ad that says here what you've been missing, No Kidding. They have been flawless all day and I have been using them for over 12 Hrs. and the App says I have 40% left yet, but that is with very little streaming, as the other reviews say that eats up Battery quickly. My only concern is that others have had failures fairly quickly, I hope not. I love these so far. If you have never used Hearing aids you just have to get used to the way Hearing aids work, it is not normal hearing and never will be again, that's just the cold hard facts..I had an expensive pair once and all they did was the receivers went out about every other week. These sound great I can hear all the little sounds again and can actually hear people talking again. In the pictures the case is empty because I am using my Hearing Aids!!

Worth keeping, but not perfect.
I tried several other OTC hearing aids, and this was the best. I got tired of trying. I wanted one that wouldn't fall out (which regular earbuds do) and that had some sort of equalization control. I also wanted one that would work when used in only ONE ear so I could share with my husband. This improves our hearing enough that I decided to keep them, but there is still the problem that amplifying the human voice amplifies high-piched sounds (keyboard clicks, etc.) even more. The object is to provide voice CLARITY, and it does improve tht somewhat, but not well enough to make me really happy. Still, good enough that I spent $450 and didn't return them, and I'm pretty frugal.

I am beyond happy with them!!
I wrote all this in a text to my mom and realized this is a perfect review: I love them! The sound quality is better than my old ones. The old ones you could tell the difference between them and real hearing, because the best way I could describe it was a “digitally sound” these don’t sound like that. Except the odd background noises I haven’t identified yet lol. Just probably the usual noises I haven’t heard in forever. Humming, buzzing, blowing from things running like the heater and fans. Even though I could listen to my music with them, I like it better to use my speakers by the bed. I can hear them just fine now and honestly it’s better than having the music directly on my ears all the time. And these do translation and they finally explained how it works and I get it now. It will be fun to try. And I can’t wait to try them on the phone. I haven’t even talked to anyone yet because of course everyone is asleep for now. But I hear myself all the time lol. Chewing, clearing my throat, sniffling, coughing, and whatever else. And also! Sometime I can take them to a hearing place and have them program the hearing profile to match my specific hearing. But they work pretty well right out of the box! They really are true hearing aids. With the domes and the whole cleaning kit and everything. Sooo happy with them. So yeah, I give them 5 stars. The app is also really nice. It’s full of easy to use features and something like training videos and how-to’s from everything like cleaning them and changing the parts and how often and stuff, to how to get used to using them, how to use different features, how to even put them on and things like that. And they even have a fun points system for getting used to them. You get points for watching videos and other tasks, like wearing them for 2 hours. And of course they have a support team and references too. This is absolutely the best $330 I have spent! I still can’t believe they were a fraction of the price of my old ones but so much nicer!

Probably not worth your time
I know what I don’t like about these, they’re not hearing aids. They’re definitely sound amplifying devices, unlike they’re advertising. They may work for some people with hearing loss, but they do not work for me with my mild to moderate loss. I can’t get rid of the echo no matter what size bells I use, changing the volume, the treble, the noise reduction, nothing. They were worth a try, and they are better than the $10 amplifiers that I have. Not worth $400 for sure.

Good product, great customer service
I purchased these hearing aids in March 2025. So this is a long term (7 1/2 months) review. This is my first use of any type of hearing aid, so I can not compare them to any others. My hearing is moderate frequency loss in the right ear, sevier loss in the left ear with eustachian tube dysfunction. Yes, I've had my ears checked along with a professional hearing test. With that out of the way, I knew the market was open for over the counter hearing aids. A number of YouTube videos rated the Elehear Beyond quite high, especially when compared to others. At the time the price range put this pair between an obvious entry level pair that appeared to be more of microphone amplifiers, rather than devices designed to focus on speech frequencies. While the ones above this price point appeared to have more features, it was a price I wasn't really to pay for a first time test. Plus this set offered some possible great features which you can read about in the product description. My experience with them has been good and bad. The good is they do elevate the speech frequencies which allows me to hear and pick out voices better. The bluetooth streaming is great for both phone calls and streaming audio. Don't expect great music reproduction as these are designed for speech first. Music streaming is good, I wouldn't say great, but good enough that it's not a distraction. The app is easy to use and allows you to make adjustments for the volume of each ear piece, so for me the left is set louder than the right. There is a tone function that basically allows you to either raise the high or low frequencies. You can think of this as a single tone knob on an old radio. You can raise both low and high frequencies. I personally could not tell any difference with the low frequencies, but I can detecct some subtle changes in the higher frequencies. Now, I am on my second pair. The first pair had some issues that I did email customer support. After numerous emails they did honor the one year warranty even with the product being purchased through Amazon. So that is a great plus for them. As for the product......the left ear piece stopped charging and stopped connecting to the app. That is why the set was replaced. As for the usage.......I like them, but there are a few things that I was disappointed with. I am unable to play guitar or piano while using them. They make music sound like it is being played under water. I did contact customer support about it and they acknowledged this is a known occurrence with some of the devices that went out. The cause appears to be related to the noise cancelling function that is trying to filter out noise to leave the music, but ends up failing. Even with the noise cancellation turned off, the device still appears to be trying to function as I can hear a subtle cancelling of noise at times before the background noise kicks in. For use in a restaurant, they really are hit and miss for me. It really depends on how noisey the place is and how much sound reflection is taking place from the walls. The music issue appears from what I have seen in videos has been resolved in the new Beyond Pro, but they are more expensive. While it may sound like I am bashing the product, I'm trying not to. Rather, I want to be honest with my experience in comparison to my hearing condition. The price point is still great especially compared to the competition. So at this price point, the features, and the sound quality I think they are a good entry point for someone wanting to checkout hearing aids. I personally like the fact that these are behind the ear devices with dome tips that are designed to allow ambient sound in along with the amplified. This is to keep you from having that occlusion effect where they feel their ears are full or blocked. Long review I know, but hopefully you have found something that is useful in it. Again hearing like eyesight is different from person to person, so you will have to test this pair and see if they work well for you. I continue to use them when I go out in public and they do what I need them to do, amplify and clarify speech for me.
