I was worried when ordering this camera as there were no reviews at the time. I gave it a shot and am glad I did. It worked just fine. Didn't need any additional packages installed and if you've used a normal PiCamera then this will be pretty much the same. There are a couple downsides but nothing I didn't you wouldn't be able to see before ordering. The board of the camera is basically moved down to the bottom near the ribbon port. It's not very flexible down near the bottom. There's not really a way to attach the camera to anything like mounting holes. Tape seems like the safest way to put it anywhere. Not an issue but something to consider for whatever project you have in mind. Overall a good camera. I'd buy it again.

Very small camera, great picture. Ribbon cable is about a foot long. Electronics on the cable make it stiff but still flexible.

Not super crisp video but better than most other cams I have tried. Nice compact camera and the ribbon keeps it neat. Only complaint would be it is not detected under newer Bullseye OS needed to back grade to Buster OS and then it worked fine.

This camera works great! It is much smaller than the original raspberry pi camera, and can be hidden just about anywhere. I just wish they made one with no IR filter, so it could be used with IR LEDs for night vision.
