Sirdar Jewelspun Aran - Citrine Sunrise (849) - 200g

This is stunning yarn. Midnight Fjords. I don't ordinarily use acrylic yarn but this was irresistible. I ordered one out of curiosity and fell in love, so I came back for more. Making a dense jacket style garment and blending with black short staple mohair which gives additional depth to the colors. Just love it. So soft and easy to work with. Rich color saturation.

This yarn is lovely. The pictures provided for the multicolor yarn really do not do it justice. It is much more vibrant in person, and runs the gamut from stormier colors to sunset colors. I am currently making a blanket with it and I find it very easy to work with. I've never had it break while working with it. It's not a super soft yarn, but it isn't scratchy and I think it's comfortable for a blanket. It also does not leave pieces of fuzz behind, which is a plus for me. It's a little pricey, but well worth the money in my opinion.

No dye lot. That was good news, I ran short and needed another ball for the second sleeve. Perfect match, no worries. The yarn is an amazing acrylic. Pleasant to work with and warm to wear.

This yarn has beautiful color, is durable and soft. It is perfect for knitting my scarf.

An absolute dream to work with, no tangling and the colors were simply gorgeous. I used the yarn to make a gift and the lady adored it. Worth every penny.

I am a new knitter and am currently knitting a scarf with this yarn. I love the softness of the yarn and the color changes are beautiful. My only complaint is that it wants to untwist as I am knitting. I'm not sure why it is doing this. I haven't enountered this problem before. I do find if I knit a little slower that it seems to be less of a problem.

My favorite self-striping yarn. I make hats & using this yarn has been such a joy, the random color variations are like a watercolor painting coming to life. I’m an artist so I really appreciate the fun patterns that show up as I change my stitch style. I make up the pattern as I go based on how the colors come together. so much fun.

I'm a bit of a yarn snob, and typically only use wool, alpaca, etc., but I tried this acrylic yarn because it looked so pretty, and I was making only my second sweater, which uses a lot of yarn, so did not want to break the bank on a sweater that might no come out OK. Well, this yarn is soft and beautiful and looks like wool. The sweater has become my favorite sweater. I would buy it again and make another sweater in another shade.
