Wonderful book I didn’t read some interviews I do really like with each cosplayer shows person name and cosplayer character name there dressed as it have 501st legion I like a lot to and it have transformer cosplay some pictures I would like to see full shots not close up from head up and waist up but this is most recommended book of cosplay I can say buy it also shows very first people in time who cosplay and little information what cosplay is like I didn’t know cosplay took part in 1970 costumes back then to compare to ones now are really instrsstibg see for fans are dressed as your fan of cosplay go look for this ad cosplay fan I am upset I didn’t buy this book sooner best part of this you get to see cosplayers all shapes and sizes and race it’s not just all American and Japanese it’s African American Indian and others I didn’t see whole book yet

Probably the best of the recent spate of cosplay profiles books. Most just focus on the cosplayers themselves, but this one also profiles photographers, prop makers and even a few non-classic cosplayers (one was a historical re-enactor and the other was a Sikh gentleman who simply decided to test folks' attitudes to a non-Caucasian playing Captain America). The authors also didn't shrink away from profiling a couple of cosplayers who also pose nude/semi-nude. They listed webpages for all the folks covered in the book for future reference; which was nice.

Fantastic book that even includes a little bit of Cosplay history! I love seeing what amazing and creative people Cosplayer's are! This book is very inspiring to anyone from beginner to veteran Cosplayer's! I highly recommend this book to anyone! Would make a great conversation starter too! Just leave it out for your guests to enjoy :)

Not my fave, I've found other versions I'd prefer, although like within any book certain things are quintessential to that book alone.
