Simple to install, albeit a little awkward but that’s just unavoidable. Worked right out of the box and I used it to pull a deer out of a truck and hang it. Did the job no problem! Pay attention to the size/length of your lag bolts to get the most weight capacity out of the winch.

Excellent value. Used for basic tasks like a deer hoist. Seems good quality.

Been using this for about 4 months now, using it to install and remove a custom pickup bed on a Mack tractor. The operation is pretty good, with plenty of cable to do double lint lifts, which is needed to slow it down.. it. Could actually be slower for better accuracy when aligning lifts. The remote is a huge plus allowing free motion, even below the truck while aligning the lift. I have never actually used the tethered control, even this it is of good length with the hoist at a 12’ truss level. Over all a good lift for the price.

This winch works perfectly as I hoped it would. I purchase this winch because it cost about the same as the HARBOR FRATE winch but the VECORE winch I chose is able to lift more than the HARVOR FRATE winch. I really like the wireless option for this winch.

Bought this for my brother, it is installed and he says it seems really sturdier, and is bigger, and heavier and more impressive than he was expecting. He loves that all he has to do is hook up and push that button and it raises right up. He can do what ever he needs to, and he loves that he doesn't have to pull and tug on it himself, like with his manual one. He says the noise is to be expected. Oh, and I can't forget one important aspect, its wireless.

This was the heaviest item I ever ordered. It took two men to deliver it and I had to push it thru the door. It is of fine quailty but as I said very heavy. It should hoist anything. Given as a gift and well received.

Well built, works great, love the wireless remote control. I took the unit partially apart and unwired the cabled remote, leaving only the wireless, and it works great. One very important flaw, however, which may or may not be an issue for your situation, is that the top of the hoist is not flat. It's slightly rounded, making installation of aftermarket trolleys a problem, if the trolley has a flat mounting bar. I had to do some re-engineering to make it work as smoothly as possible. UPDATE: As I began to use the hoist, on the third lift of something that weighs about 100 pounds, a bright spark flew out of the motor, and the entire unit stopped working. Press “up” it hums but does not move. Press “down” and nothing happens.
