This little adapter is a clever addition if you take a lot of photos or video on your phone and want a fast way to move them to an SD card. I used it with an iPhone 15 Pro and a standard SanDisk SD card. The connection was instant, with no extra app required — the phone recognised the card and opened the file browser straight away. The design is very portable: it is about the size of a coin and attaches magnetically to the back of the phone. The magnet holds firmly enough that it does not wobble while in use, but it detaches easily when you are finished. Because it is magnetic and not cabled, it is neat to use at a desk or while travelling. Transfer speeds were impressive for photos and short video clips, though large 4K video files still took a little while — that is more to do with card speed than the adapter itself. I also liked that the USB-C connector is well-built and fits securely without any slack. A small point: the adapter is so compact it is easy to misplace. I recommend keeping it in a pouch or clipped to a keyring. Overall, it is a practical tool for photographers, travellers, and anyone who wants quick backup of media from their iPhone without fuss.

10/10. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use it so I don't have to pay for extra cloud storage. I hate that every photo get uploaded then it takes ages to filter and delete pics you don't want. I use this to store my content and for creating holiday folders to then upload manually to the cloud. Magnet is stong but not too strong that I can't take it off. Holds well. It fits perfectly in my bag to take with me on trips. You need to buy a separate SD card, I bought an Amazon's choice 64gb, my partner a branded one and both work perfectly. Honestly so easy to use. Highly recommend for content creators or people who want to organise their photos and videos/ files.

This is advertised mainly as an iPhone adapter, but I have purchased this to use with my Samsung S25. It works just fine. I have a Spigen Magsafe case for my S25, and this paired with the Anker MagGo adapter, work perfectly. The magnet is strong and holds very well with no fear of it falling off. I have used it to transfer and backup my photos and videos, but you can also use it to record videos direct to the storage device using Samsungs camera app. I can now record 4k and 8k video without using up my internal phone memory. I have installed a 256GB memory card in the adapter. My only negative, which is why I give it 4 stars, is the cover of the adapter. As others have said, it only holds with magnetic connection, but its not the strongest. I would of preferred some sort of mechanical connection, a clip or screw on type cover.

Absolutely brilliant on my ipad mini coupled with two 2tb microsd cards for a wopping 4tb movie storage . . Great quality, good price and one very happy customer. Has pd charging port to keep juiced up while viewing movies all day long. 5* from me.

Great to snap on MagSafe and a much cheaper alternative to a MagSafe SSD, this way you can swap out the cards to any you may already have and continue using when you fill one card! PD Charging on the side is a mega bonus as the USB port is obviously in use so doubles as a wireless charger. Cant go wrong!

Could be more compact considering it takes 2 small sd cards but works well
