It's slow and the throttle and turning are not proportional to the control, those are my biggest complaints. It is pretty fun and a well built car. When you're not driving it, it looks pretty good as a 1:24 scale model. The car handles surprising well as a "drift car" on clean hardwood floors. This is because the long wheelbase makes slides, rotations, and flicks extremely slow and predictable. I opened up the model for some pictures and bushing install on the front. You could upgrade to make it faster if you have the will to track down the correct motor.

The remote car was smaller than I expected. Costco has one 4 times larger for a similar price. I returned this remote car to Amazon.
