This review is for the Earthling Co. Shampoo & Conditioner Bar Set in the Wild Lavender scent. What a wonderful product. I ordered this some time ago, so I would have it on hand when the shampoo and conditioner I was currently using ran out. I tried this for the first time today, and BOY was I surprised and very pleased. I have long straight hair to the middle of my back. This shampoo bar lathered up so well. I could have probably used less, but I didn't know what to expect. I felt my hair got cleaner than with my previous shampoo. As I said, it lathered well and on top of that it rinsed out really well too. I didn't have to take minutes and minutes rinsing it. My hair felt so clean. Then the conditioner was equally wonderful and surprising. It was easy to apply. I felt it was exactly the right amount as I applied the bar to the ends of my hair and it gave me a rich, deep condition. I let it sit in my hair while I finished my shower, then rinsed it out with ease. I towel dried my hair and it was easy to comb out. No major tangles. I usually blow dry my hair, but today, I let it air dry and it feels full and soft. I am so happy I purchased these shampoo and conditioner bars. Oh, and the scent, pure luxury. I would suggest placing them on a soap saver pad or some sort of elevated soap dish, so they can get air and not sit in water or on a moist surface between uses. I will be purchasing these again when these run low. I can't speak to if they will encourage hair growth since I just started using them. Time will tell on that point.

Oh my goodness y'all! I don't often write a review, but this deserves some praise. I had been using the "it's a 10" products for almost 10 years, the last 4 years I was having to use a deep cleansing shampoo with it. My scalp had started to become flaky as well. It's never done that. So when I was looking for another clarifying shampoo, I started doing some research. I was tired of losing so much hair and my hair had become flat and dull. The little bit of wave I had in my hair was gone. I had seen the advertisements about this product, did a little research on the internet too, and finally decided to try it. I still had doubts, I had heard shampoo bars were difficult to use. Also, how could something at this price be better than what I was using that was almost double the cost?! I mean, you get what you pay for, right? These shampoo and conditioner bars are worth the hype. The lather is incredible. The conditioner bar was kind of weird to use the first couple of times, but at the first use of these bars, I already saw less shedding. I am in my mid-40s and had a complete hysterectomy at 22 so losing a bunch of hair has just been a part of my life for a long time. Having less hair fall out for that first shampoo was awesome. I almost always let my hair air dry. When it was about 3/4 dry, I looked in the mirror...there were waves again! My hair looked lifted from the roots, not just flat against my scalp. Also, my hair hadn't been so shiny in years. Still, I was skeptical. Now, I have been using this for a couple of months and the shine is still there. I have volume to my hair again. It's growing much faster now and I have tons of new growth. My hair has the wavy curls back (my hair had been board straight until it decided to change in my late 30s), and it feels wonderful! I just got the hair and body oil today and cannot wait to try that stuff out!!! So, if you are debating the purchase, I highly recommend buying! I know everyone's hair is different, but with this stuff, I don't think it matters.

I've been using this for about 4 months and I'm very pleased with the results. I only wash my hair twice a week and this doesn't leave my hair weighed down, dull or oily, in between washes. I'm used to having to switch up my shampoo and conditioner, every few weeks because they never seem to make my hair look and feel as they did the first couple of weeks after starting to use them. I have not had that issue, with this set! A little goes a long way. I have very thick hair and what you see in the photo is after 4 months of use! Both also rinse easily from my hair and leave no residue behind, to weigh my hair down. The shampoo bar suds up nicely and leaves my hair feeling more dry, than my old shampoos, immeadiately after rinsing. But the conditioner takes care of that. After rinsing the conditioner from my hair, it feels like it won't do much because it doesn't feel slick. (Probably because there's nothing in it, like parabens and silicone, that slicks and coats the hair. This is great for preventing that build-up that always weighs my hair down so bad.) Once my hair dries, however, it's amazingly soft and manageable. The scent is very light and pleasant. I keep my bars in a glass Pyrex container and leave the lid off for 24 hours after use, to allow the bars to dry, before putting the lid on. This has worked great so far. Oh! One last thing... When I first used these, I left them out on my bathtub. They caused no stains. I've had soap bars cause stains that I'm still unable to remove! So no dyes! I'll continue to use these. I'm so pleased with them.

The shampoo bar is great! For cleansing and scalp health. The smell is a bit more earthly, no sweet fruity smell like i was expecting. The conditioner bar made my hair soft, but feels a little waxy. Weighs down my waves a bit. I have fine, wavy hair (somewhere around type 2c, except flatter at the top) so thick conditioners don't work for me. It probably works better for thicker or straight hair. Love the shampoo, but I'd need a different conditioner
