From the (Micro)Economics point of view this book provides a very simple analysis to the effects of discrimination. If you are being this book please note that in the current state of Economics research this book has not much to offer, but it is surely the first important analysis of the (micro)economics of discrimination and is surely worth having if you are working on such subject. It should be clear to everyone that this is not about the causes of discrimination, but rather about the effects, so do not expect to find the "whys?" here. Regarding the quality of the printing: It is an old-style print in those yellowish pages which are not very pleasant to touch, but one should not care too much about that.

A difficult read but comprehensive.

modern ricardian view of looking at discrimination. very innovative and interesting. i like his approach. i skip mathematics in the text. i think more important is to know his way of looking at human behavior and social phenomena.
