Adapt Lubricating Deodorant - 8 oz bottle

For me, Adapt has been very beneficial. The lubricating aspect is great. However, the deodorant aspect is lacking. You have to use a lot for it to work well, which is price-prohibitive. Nonetheless, I prefer Adapt to other products. Other products don't lubricate and tend to use heavy perfumes to try and mask the smell, which is very off-putting.

The best product smells good not sticky works well.

This is my favorite lubricant deoderizer. Works great and the larger bottle lasts. I recommend this product highly.

This is a very good product for people with ostomies. It was shipped timely and it is a lot cheaper on Amazon from this seller than purchasing it from supply companies. I have Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and unfortunately, ostomy deodorants are not covered by insurance. If you use this product in your pouch when you change it and each time you empty your pouch, it helps a lot with order control.

This is a lubricant to be put in bag and over the stoma. It prevents your liquid stool from sitting on top of stoma and not moving. This “not moving of stoma waste” can push the liquid out under the flange and any other extra taping. It doesn’t matter if the insides of the pouch is completely covered, the lubricant that is sitting on the stoma will also connect to drainage and help it along. I use this every time I drain my pouch. I have no problem with odor as the pouch is closed again after rinsing and there is no odor when closed and no one has ever complained about me smelling. I go into my bathroom alone. I keep a large plastic bottle filled with water next to my toilet. I keep all my cleaning up supplies in a basket . There is also a blue liquid deodorant that I sometimes put in with the water . I hope you try this and see that it helps.

I had been having trouble with the output staying around where it comes out preventing further pieces from getting past the one sometimes more, lodged around the stoma. I had tried several brands that did nothing but turn everything brown and liquid at the neck where we open to entry. But they did nothing for the new stuff up top of the bag, causing what I’ve now figured out that’s what seasoned Ostomates call “pancaking”. Plus, this also seems to keep the stoma from sucking the plastic bag into it, also blocking the pathway for subsequent output. I can still smell the poop ONLY when I empty into the toilet and it doesn’t smell as strong anymore. My husband has never been able to smell it but he doesn’t have the “Blood Hound” smeller I do-thank God! And it’s just the two of us living in our house. My biggest problem was the difficulty getting the stuff out of the bag, especially when I start to back up and have to use something like Miralax. That makes it really sticky and almost impossible for me to shake it out, usually having to dig way up into the mess and pull it out! So disgusting and embarrassing when my husband has to help me pour water into the top of the bag to wash it out! I have decided to just throw the whole bag away when it gets like that! But this product helps with that too. And like I said it’s the best brand for the money I have found. Good luck and may God give peace to all who have to deal with this!

J’étais septique sur l’efficacité de ce lubrifiant anti odeur. J’ai essayer un peu craintif. Mais je suis très heureux. Car oui ça fonctionne. Le sac à stomie se vide mieux. Et ça aide avec les odeur. Moi j’ai couper la quantité en deux soit 1/2 cuillère à thé et ça marche.
