Once upon a time Batman had a dog. Todd McFarlane, who is the guy behind all of these toys likes the history of comics-- so they decided to make a figure based on the Batman version who had a dog. You get a cool poseable Batman figure, with a neat paint job on the mask and trunks giving it a real comic style feel-- not quite 1950s as it's advertisted to be, but classic-- and a statue of a dog with a mask on it. I like Batman, I like Dogs-- I don't know how this would hold up to play value-- I'm way too old to play with toys so this is a decorative item on my desk. But if you're one of them toy collector fellas then I think you'll be happy with it. The cape is cloth and it is wired. Comes with a bunch of hands and a batarang too.

Well-made with good detail and of course, there is Ace, which is why I bought this figure set. Nice depiction of Batman's Bat Hound.

This figure will go great with the Superman Silver Age I also got. The packaging used for shipping was not ideal and the box arrived damaged. But as always, service support from Amazon was great! If you like the silver age Batman, this is your figure!

A great figure, love the colors and posability.

This is a great silver age Batman, he has great articulation, a very accurate and detailed look and comes with some great accessories (Ace is the best boy). My only real gripes are the cape should be shorter and wider, and one of the extra pair of hands just won’t fit on the wrist pegs (though I might just have to heat the hands up). Overall awesome figure and a great addition to the collection!
