10/10 perfect for old Infiniti’s!!!! I have been hunting for a scanner that would actually work on my beautiful POS (‘98 i30) as it had a check engine light for a few months. Cheap scanners do not work on my car aside from emissions inspections, as I’ve come to find out it has a hidden adapter port for actual diagnostics. This magical little device completely bypassed it! (I would have had to go to the dealership or buy a snap-on/equivalent otherwise) Gave me the codes in a couple minutes, successfully cleared one and found out that the ignition coils I bought were crap. If you are struggling to find an obd2 scanner for your Infiniti- this is it. Not only is the scanner amazing, the customer support is super responsive! I emailed regarding my tracking number since I live in Canada and they got back to me with it in less than a day. I couldn’t be more pleased with this product! For my fellow i30 owners: remember to turn the key to “run” when scanning, it’s stupid I know but it’s the only way to actually scan the vehicle. “On” will not work for any scanner you try, I promise lol.

I’m definitely not one to leave reviews, however I’m extremely thrilled with this scanner. I’ve been having an on and off check engine light on my 2018 Silverado 1500 since I bought the vehicle in 2021. Usually it only comes on during the Minnesota winter, so having to drive to Autozone or bring it into the dealership is a real pain when it’s -15° out. Getting the scanner and app set up took literally one minute. Captured everything I need from the Vehicle information to the MIL DTC and other stored codes. Some have said the dongle is cheaply made, which might be true, but what difference does it make when it’s discrete and clean. What matters is the ability to hold a connection (no issues), reliability, and that it functions correctly- all of which seem to be true. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is mechanically inclined or if you’re a cautious driver who hates the pesky orange light. You can clear codes, monitor live reports, record your vehicles data. Really a sweet tool.

One of the best items I've gotten for car troubleshooting. This one is everything I expected plus a little more with the simplicity of the way the app sorts the faults. So far it has worked really well and has been very accurate with reading codes on all three of my vehicles. Surprised at how quickly it returns the results for a portable unit. You can save your vehicles and not have to enter VIN every time thereafter. Wasn't hard connecting to my phone once the app was downloaded. Every time I have had a warning light it has accurately given the same code result as the mechanic shop nearby I use. The fact that it lets you click on the needed parts and does an instant search at most common after market stores locally makes it that much faster to find what you need for the repair. Makes it easy to have a reference on what the potential parts could cost. Also, to know what parts are actually needed before going to a shop. The other cool feature I like is it gives the severity of fault and ratings on urgency of repair. Planning to buy another to place in my sister's car so I can teach her how to check codes and tell me what is needed before going to help fix things on her car....Perfect gift for your wife, girlfriend, or college student to make car maintenance easier and more efficient. Great gift for a guy too! Definitely worth what I paid for it.
