Look like a good aquatic mix
I'm trying to grow mini water lilies... I tried at first using regular garden soil but it floats, so this was a good choice.After a little while the soil sets and the water gets clear. I planted two sprouted lotus seeds, but they don't look happy though. I'm new to it so I'm probably doing something wrong myself.The soil seems adequate for it. It's heavy soil so two pounds is just a small bag.

You can bind the roots of a plant in a pot completely submerged, or have part of above the water
The product feels like a bag of heavy but small crushed rocks, which I suppose keeps the water from washing away the dirt from the roots of a plant.

Works. No issues with pond lily. Price is high though for so little. More optimal to buy in bulk. Good if you just want to grow a small desk pond plant.
