My first Calligraphy collection pen buy, and I am not disappointed! I did label them with their size so I can learn them properly. I also purchased sumi ink that I injected with a syringe into the ink valves. (FYI: These pens DO NOT come with ink) Great price for 6 pens! Pens are super easy to use. Very easy to refill. The divots by the nibs are comfortable for proper calligraphy writing. The nibs are very sturdy and feel like they “grip” to the paper, which is a great feeling for a stable control of the pen.

I was looking forward to using these pens, but there were several issues with the ink distribution to the nib (capillary action). I use cartridges instead of an ink bottle and as soon as I started writing, the ink would leak from the feed and stain my hand frequently. After that I didn’t use them for a while until recently, that's when I noticed that the ink from the cartridge (reservoir) had emptied into the front body of the pen which happened to most of the pens from the set. Now the ink is wasted since it won’t distribute properly or write.

Nice set to try different stub nib sizes. Writes pretty well and very wet. No issues of running too dry. The only issue is the .7mm writes more like a broad than a stub.
