The quality of the wood is very good. There are no rough edges and the pieces fit in place smoothly. It is very well crafted and has good weight for stability.

Well made wood and closes accurately …However the hinges are incredibly tight- lubrication does not seem to help either.

Does have a small crack in the wood. (As shown in first photo) Hopefully it will be fine. I like the size and feel of the pallet. I like others wish the water container was dual or at least deeper.

The white board did not fit the wooden frame and was broken in the corner

This is just a beautiful pallet for plein air. Sadly I got it for Christmas and here it is May and haven’t used it yet. I love that I can attach it to my tripod. More than enough spaces for a variety of paint colors. The little pans are not removable but I actually don’t know why you would need to. I also like the fact that the lid can lay perfectly flat. I don’t like to paint watercolor at much of an angle myself. Of all the ones I looked at this one ticked all the boxes and also was the most affordable! I absolutely love it!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I paint outdoors and this way more portable then my oil paints.

The pans have rounded edges so I don’t know if I can replace the, and I can’t seem to get the out. Otherwise, very nice quality. It’s very heavy for being so small. A fun item to add to my collection. I received as a gift.
