Great product - fantastic customer service! Highly recommended.
I did a lot of research and watched a lot of you tube videos before committing to this particular heater. If you are looking at getting a diesel heater, I'm sure you do a lot of research beforehand too. I was really torn between the "cheaper" ones and this LF Bros brand offering various models of increasing expense and it seemed you could make the "cheaper" ones a bit better by buying a better fuel pump and replacing it, and maybe the fuel line, and the exhaust muffler. While I'm definitely capable of doing those things... I couldn't really be bothered, and I still worried about the quality of the actual heater unit. As we all know by now - there is bad chinese, and there is good chinese, and it pretty much always comes down to price. They can certainly make things down to a price, but they can also make great stuff, it just costs more. I have always been more of the "buy once, cry once" category - where I think you pay a bit more than you really want to at the start, but then don't regret later because the thing works, and doesn't let you down. So.... I plumped for this one (the N2-T model) when it was on a Black friday deal, it arrived promptly, well packaged in it's box, and I couldn't wait to get it set up and running as the weather was already pretty cold. I'm currently living in a static caravan, which can stay warm, but consumes quite a bit of gas for the central heating when it's single figures weather and the wind gets up. My idea was to supplement the central heating with this diesel heater and keep the gas bills down. I installed it pretty easily, and it was working fine for the first few weeks, and I was very happy with it as it did a great job of heating the whole place, the gas central heating was on a whole lot less, which was great for my gas bills, and I couldn't believe how little diesel it used to keep the place toasty warm. I wasn't just happy with it, I was ecstatic. Then 1 day, I noticed a slight smell of diesel when I went to top it up. To be honest I probably wouldn't have noticed if this had been installed outside or maybe in a garden shed or workshop, where I know a lot of people use them. I have installed it in the 2nd bathroom of the caravan (which I only use for storage) so obviously it is inside, and any smell is much more noticeable. I monitored it for a few days and found that it was probably dripping about 4 to 5 drops an hour - so very little really, but not something I wanted to leave. The smell, while not over powering, was a nuisance. The drips, while almost nothing, still irritated me as I want maximum efficiency. But mainly, since I couldn't really determine where the leak was coming from exactly ( I suspected a clamp might need tightening up on the pipe to the pump) I was worried about fire risk, particularly with it being installed inside my van. I was one morning away from taking the unit out and dismantling it my workshop to address the leak, when I remembered that I had received a customer service email from LF Bros after I bought the unit from Amazon, saying if I had any issues to please contact them. So I did. I wrote a message to them explaining the problem and asking if they had any advice to sort the problem, and I received a message back the same day from a lovely lady (Milly) who was super helpful and after asking a few questions, offered to send me a brand new unit out asap. This they did, and it actually arrive faster that promised. I have installed this one and I'm very happy to report is working perfectly! In fact, they were kind enough to send me a better (more expensive) model than the one I originally purchased, and I can say it is even better than the first one, as the pump is absolutely silent, and the economy is unbelievable! It sips fuel (particularly on the low setting - where it is usually after its heated the place up very quickly on high). When I go to check if it needs topping up, I'm always amazed at how little it has used for the heat it puts out! So in summary - not only is the heater fantastic, doing a great job pumping out lovely hot clean, odour-free warm air, it does it easily, quietly, and cheaply (fuel-wise). Just as importantly for me (and to be honest, the BIG surprise) is the excellent customer service and product back up from LF Bros, who not only answered every message I send them within 24 hrs, but went over and above to make sure I was satisfied with their product and left happy with the product I chose and the company I chose it from. I can't speak for everyone, but I feel that my decision to spend a little more initially has paid for itself many times over, and I have already recommended the LF Bros diesel heater to a number of people who have asked about it, in the knowledge that if they do encounter any problems Milly/customer service will look after them. 1 very happy (and warm) customer!

Works well
With so many diesel heaters on the market, this one caught my eye. compact unit and easy to use. simple to set up and very good quality. you get everything you need in the box (apart from fuel) the remote is handy and the lcd screen is easy to read. comes with 12 volt lead and a mains lead so you have options. Even the packaging is good quality. used to keep my garage warm when working in there over the winter months. So far I am very impressed with this heater.

LF Bros diesel heater
After a theft of this item I called customer service and was sent one the next day . I was impressed with customer service and the diesel heater was unpacked immediately and the first thing I noticed was the quality . After a little trouble putting together , I found that the heater was pure quality and the heat coming out was amazing. The only complaint was I found it to be a little noisy but manageable. I would recommend this product to anyone . I use it for my motorhome and we love it. It’s very economical and cheap to run .

Death wish
I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding a diesel heater I recently purchased, which has proven to be completely unsatisfactory and, more importantly, dangerously unsafe. I purchased this heater with the expectation that it would operate quietly and efficiently, as advertised. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. From initial use, the fuel pump was excessively loud, far beyond what would be considered acceptable for normal operation. In addition to the noise issue, the fuel cap was defective and leaked diesel, producing strong fumes and creating an unpleasant and potentially hazardous environment. Even more concerning, the exhaust pipe supplied with the unit had holes in it, which resulted in carbon monoxide leaking into the space during use. On the very first night of operation, this leak triggered my carbon monoxide detector. Thankfully, I had a functioning detector installed — without it, the consequences could have been fatal. This represents a serious safety failure and poses an extreme risk to users. Due to these issues, I no longer felt safe using the product and have since disposed of the unit entirely. I will be purchasing an alternative heater from a different supplier. I am extremely disappointed that a product with such severe defects was sold, especially one that presents a life-threatening hazard. I believe this matter warrants urgent attention, as the defects I experienced could easily result in serious injury or death for other customers. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

Here are some things that I couldn't find from other reviews, or videos, etc. • Weight of the heater unit, as shipped (dry): just under 22lbs • 3.5" wide heat outlet (not a normal US 3" or 4"). For my 4" hole, I used a 4" dryer vent hose and taped it to the 3.5" included elbow with aluminum heat tape. On Etsy, I found a very nice magnetic whole/cover system that works perfect with this. • On the AC cable, it is 19" from brick to heater connecter, 43-44" from brick to AC plug. (For my camping application, the 19" is too short, and would cause the brick to be outside in the elements.) ○ The electrical connectors are WEIPU WY16 2-pin, which can be found on the bay. • On the controller, the attached cable length is 12" • The extension cable for the controller is 80" long, so 92" total. • Cable with connector ends and 2 eyelets, 6' 6" long, 1/4" holes in the eyelets • Hole in the heater shell around the outlet is circular, not square like N2 Pro pics • No mounting holes on the back of the controller, to mount it to a hard wall. (I attached a magnet + sticky on the back, and putting it on a metal piece screwed on the wall when using it. • The fuel tank is recessed about 1/2" from the outer shell, making it harder to see what the fuel level is through the gap. • The exhaust is slightly different than pics, etc. The outlet on the unit is threaded, and one side of the exhaust pipe is threaded, so the muffler has to go on the end of the pipe, not in between the unit and the pipe. • My unit has a fan that might be more noisy than expected, so at any heating level > 1.5K, it gets noisier and noisier. I need to take the cover off and see if it's rubbing on anything. But, the fuel pump's ticking is very quiet after warmup. • The Anker C1000x can power it in both AC (max ~150 watts) and 12V DC (max ~135 watts, with a cigarette plug rated for 20 amps attached to the eyelets), no problems. Takes ~1% of battery to do the startup routine. • For camping, the thermostat option works perfectly. I have an un-insulated cargo trailer that I sleep in. It varies the power output to keep the temperature somewhat constant. Sometimes it will power off, and then back on depending on the temperature swing, but overall, it works as you would expect. For my Anker C1000x battery, it uses ~12% per night, camping in the fall, down to 40'F. And about 60% of a tank of fuel. • At a campground, with this running less than 1.8KW, I can't hear it when more than 50 feet away from it. It does get louder the higher the power output, mostly from the fan. Overall, I am very happy with it. From the reviews I read on the N2 Pro, I think the thermostat option has been improved, so I'm glad I got this model instead.
