Any slight incline could cause the chair to tip forward, once sending my wife onto the floor. We installed these and they work great! These have prevented the chair from tipping on multiple occassions and we couldn't be happier! Glad we didn't need to buy a new chair. Review: They Work, But They're a Safety Hazard - After installing these on my mother's wheelchair, the physical therapists at her assisted living facility ordered me to take them back off because they were a safety hazard on the front of the chair, extending into tripping range. They also severely limited her turning mobility and front proximity options. So they were a very expensive waste of money.

Great for wheelchairs that tend to tip forward!
We had a wheel chair that tipped forward because the front wheels were very close to the rear wheels and my wife's legs need to stay raised, so more weight was in the front. Any slight incline could cause the chair to tip forward, once sending my wife onto the floor. We installed these and they work great!
