This little tool is a lifesaver! I love the fact that you can rinse and not use soap and that it has the perfect mix capabilities for when you do want to do the deep cleaning mode. Very light easy to use and move around. The brush has amazing suction I like the different tools. I feel like it does a really good job cleaning, does seem to get angry if you leave it on the floor so I always find something to set it on that has ventilation or else hold it. It is sleek and efficient.

As a pet parent with two energetic dogs and a cat, I’ve tried my fair share of cleaners—but the BISSELL® Little Green® Max Pet SmartMix is hands-down the best portable carpet and upholstery cleaner I’ve ever used. I was amazed at how quickly it lifted stubborn pet stains and odors from my carpets, car seats, and even the couch. Portability is another win. It’s compact and lightweight, yet it feels durable and powerful. I’ve already used it on stairs, rugs, and even detailed the interior of my car. The long cord and hose give me plenty of reach without constantly unplugging and moving it. Bottom line: If you have pets, kids, or just messy life moments, this is a must-have. Easy to use, easy to clean, and it gets the job like a pro!!

Well-designed little cleaner. Works great, setup is simple, breakdown is simple, instructions are illustrated clearly and easy to follow. The SmartMix version is worth getting because 1) I'm not having to figure out the "right" cleaning solution ratio and 2) it allows for the Rinse (water only) function. I wind up using far less cleaning solution because I'm only putting it down when I actually need it. I've been using it primarily to clean up pet stains. It's done a far better job than I was expecting, even on old, set-in stains. The only downside is I now have a bunch extra-clean spots on my carpet making me uncomfortably aware that I should really clean the whole thing :'(

What an amazing little cleaner! We used today for very 1st time, and results are beyond expectations. The features work well as described. Cleanup of dirty tank is very easy. This particular model 38572 has a great feature that separates the clean water from the cleaning liquid so that you can do a clear water spray & extraction as a final follow-up to the actual cleaning mixture...and there is a cleanup step when you are done using the clear water only for cleaning your hose and floor tool. So simple to use and well thought out features! Love it!

First, don't be put off by 4 stars vs 5. The missing star is not a reason to avoid buying this cleaner, as it did a fabulous job cleaning. Just a couple minor things I wish were different. First is that the suction is always on if the machine is on, so if you want to scrub the area you're about to clean, it's going to suck up the cleaning solution or pretreat spray while you're scrubbing whether you want it to or not. The workaround is just to scrub with the machine turned off. Minor. The other one is weird; the air outlet is on the bottom of the machine, not the side, so it's blowing downward into the carpet (stressing the motor) rather than freely out the side. Now for the good, and it's very good- this did an amazing job of cleaning dried-on runny dog poo out of our carpet in multiple areas. One of our pups had GI distress for a couple days so we had a few messes around the house. After weighing renting vs buying we decided to buy, and I looked for recommendations on Wirecutter but they didn't love any of them, and their "recommendations" were lukewarm. Did a little more research and eventually decided on this Little Green Max Pet machine and I am so impressed. It had been several days since the poo events, so I wet the areas first with a little water spray and let it sit for a bit. Then we used the pretreat spray, as well as putting cleaner in the machine, but I think the pretreat would have been enough, as this machine has a Rinse-only function. Regardless, all evidence of poo is gone after using this Little Green machine. All. Gone. I was expecting mediocre results, but I'm so pleased with how well it cleaned everything up. Highly recommend this cleaner! And even better, the smell of the cleaning agents is not overwhelming. I'm very sensitive to artificial fragrances but this one did not trigger any asthmatic symptoms. Very very happy! Update a couple weeks later- Dogs being dogs, we've had a few more opportunities to this cleaner. I still don't like that the air outlet is on the bottom with no side vents, as it seems a guaranteed way to overheat the motor, and it does get very warm, but otherwise still happy we made this purchase. It does do a very good job spot cleaning. In fact, the areas we cleaned are now noticeably much cleaner than the rest of the carpet, so it's left us with *clean* spots! I'll keep my rating at 4 stars, and my recommendation stands. This is a great carpet spot cleaner.

I am in love with the Little Green Machine by Bissel! It also as you can see matches with Pet Bissel vacuum which just makes it even better because their looks and design match. The cord length is perfect and you have lots of room to move the vac from space to space. It really does a great job removing stains and cleaning your items like rugs, furniture, the car upholstery and more. Its a very durable, easy to use machine that will transform your cleaning routine. I also got this on sale which was a great value for it which even at full price its so worth it too
