Got this as a Christmas present for a family member who’s a wicked fan. They came in good condition. I think it’s a good price too.

I love this story and I’m so excited I was able to find it cheaper here than in store.

I enjoyed these when they first came out. Much darker than the play or movie. You never hear about the Animals being forced to mate with animals, or having to hide their intelligence or be killed in the play.

The series is fine—interesting enough that I wanted to see how it all played out, but not a favorite. I didn’t feel that “can’t-put-it-down” pull that I get from most books I really love. The world-building is unique, and the take on Oz is clever, but I often found myself passively listening or reading rather than fully engaged. I did really enjoy hearing the author narrate Book 2—his voice and rhythm matched the tone of the story well. The other narrator just didn’t work for me and made it harder to stay connected. Glad I finished it, but I wasn’t obsessed.

This series is handy so one can read all the books at the same time.

This is an excellent book set that is no doubt overpriced due to the release of the recent movie. Regardless, the books are excellent with a twist on the wicked witch story. These books are dark in tone with mature moments and are not suited for younger folks, but otherwise, they make for an excellent read. You get all 4 books in this collection, so it really is the best way to purchase.

The set arrived in great condition, perfectly packaged even with shipping international, and even a few days earlier than estimated. After a few reads of the first book "Wicked," the black color on the book spine began to come off. Minor flaws. (After moving to Brazil, I've realized the quality of books made here is much more durable than books made in the US.) I'm nearing the first half of "Son of a Witch" and I can't put these books down. Highly recommend, and very pleased with my purchase.
