Very nice
I have bought several 3s and 4s versions and must say that these are really good especially the 4s version. I get close to unlimited vertical with the 4s 30mm fan in my scratch built f16. They sound awesome too

Wire gauge needs to be increased
Love these, but they seem to not have high enough gauge wire. Increase wire gauge please. The wires get very hot.

Does not work on 4S.
Works OK on 3S. I smoked 2 during setup on an F-22. Confirmed they are rated for 4S. And I bought their recommended ESCs. After calibrating ESCs to transmitter throttle, ran at 25% and both smoked. Got 2 replacements and tested on 3S, no issue. Tried 4S on just one motor, other was disconnected, it smoked in about 10 seconds. Returned both. Would really like a 12 blade 30mm EDF. 6 blades are noisy.

Second one with motor failure
This is the second 4S version that I have had fail before even putting into a plane. Operating on a 20A ESC and 4S battery. Both occasions motor smoked and failed. First one I had replaced and unfortunately second one I did not do a full run up when I tested initially and when I did it was out of the preplacement period. I am not sure what is going on? I have 40, 50, 64, and 70mm units from xfly and these 30mm are the only ones I have had trouble with.

A keeper.
Bought the 3s version. I haven't flown this fan yet, but did some basic bench measurements. Weight is spot on at 14.8gr, as shipped. Bench test shows fan is at least as efficient (using gr/watts metric) as the lower-bladed micro EDFs by Eflite (28mm) or GP (30mm). About 107gr on 70w, 204gr thrust on 145w @12V! Best of all, it purrs like a mini-turbine instead of making the shrill sound of the Eflite or GP fans.Update: On 8V, I'm getting 105gr thrust on only 53watt input @ full throttle. Super efficient for a tiny EDF.
