Works amazing. Fast heating, large capacity and an easy to use app interface. I’m quite impressed. I would definitely buy again. A fine addition to my other Govee products. My only minor complaint is that the tea infuser is somewhat difficult to clean as it is all one piece, and some tea leaves tend to get stuck to the sides and bottom.

This kettle works really well, I love being able to set a selected temperature. I haven’t tried the wi-fi yet but nice to have the capability. Heats water quickly and looks nice in the kitchen too.

I have used this kettle every day since it arrived about 2 months ago. I love it! I'm a daily tea drinker, so I love being able to set the temperature depending on what tea I'm drinking that day. It paired easily with my phone and Google Home. I also love the "keep warm" function where it can be held at a specific temperature for up to 2 hours. It's easy to clean and gives you a notification when it's time to descale. And, the water is not touching and plastic parts.

This kettle has made my life so much easier in the kitchen, be it our tea time routine or using boiling water for something else, it’s super quick and highly convenient. I was under the impression that 1.7 L could be a tad bit small, but nope! I was wrong, it’s a good size for a family of 4-6 people, and it’s not just good for tea or coffee, it’s extremely helpful for other chores as well. The water boils fairly quickly, I like that the infuser comes out easily which makes cleaning the kettle and the infuser a breeze. I clean the bottom every other day even when I don’t infuse tea leaves. It comes with a brush for cleaning, long handle, easy cleanup. I had connected it with Alexa and it works like a charm, you just give a simple command to Alexa and the water starts to boil on your command withing seconds. The variable temperature presets are spot-on for different teas (green, black, oolong), and the 2-hour keep-warm is good for multiple cups without reboiling. Not having to press a button and being able to operate it remotely is worth all the money. Good size, very well built product, looks good, works even better. Pro tip: I always use filtered water to prevent mineral buildup! Hope this helps!

Pros: One of the few kettles that have native smart home integration. Being able to start the kettle from the other room is fantastic. Cons: Govee uses different naming schema and preset naming between this kettle and their other smart gooseneck kettle which makes using both kind of annoying. Sometimes alexa will just give an error when attempting to give a verbal command such as "Alexa set [kettle name] to 212 degrees" yet issuing the command "Alexa turn [kettle name] on" then waiting for her to prompt you for the temperature will work. Also the fact that the unit can't be told to "boil" but must be told to be set to "212 degrees" is a touch annoying. On the brink of being great but just needs a touch more QA and UI development.

I rarely write reviews. I also rarely buy appliances because I prefer to ask for them for Christmas and save myself money. But the Bluetooth on this thing called to me and I am so happy I gave in and bought it! I can TURN IT ON WHILE STILL IN BED!! Works perfectly with my Google Home app. I bought it because I’m lazy in the morning and hate waiting for my old loud electric kettle to heat up while eating breakfast. With the app, I can turn it on, set its temperature and check its temperature. It heats up to 212 degrees in less than two minutes for three cups. You can control it by the buttons manually and that requires no programming, of course. This thing’s biggest selling point is definitely the Bluetooth, though. You can set it to brew you something at a specific time every morning!! My phone AND watch will tell me when it’s ready!?! The future is awesome!!! (Older people, definitely ask for help with programming it from your more tech-savvy friends or family, however; I’m in my 30s and had no trouble, but my poor mother had no idea what she was doing when I got her one, haha!) I don’t use the diffuser, but it’s sturdy. The whole thing is sturdy and easy to clean. Looks small and snazzy on my counter. Quieter than my old kettle. Overall, this thing changed my morning routine to be more streamlined and easy, which is very important to me!!

I ordered this for my mom because she loves instant coffee (like the instant folgers coffee. Its bonkers to me) and heats up her water via her very fancy Keurig (now you see why its bonkers) or in the microwave (yes, ive explained to her in detail the perils of super heated water). So to, mostly save my sanity, I gifted her this for Christmas and she actually loves it! Her favorite thing is that she can have it heating up while she gets ready for work and it takes up a lot less space on her counters. It looks sleek and nice and works great. I genuinely am content with what I got for her so much that Im tempted to replace my old school tea kettle.

I really want to like this kettle. It has all the features I need, and it's got great capacity. Unfortunately, the seal between the metal and plastic parts of the ring the lid fits in failed on me. This makes the kettle unusable. I'm disappointed because I really liked it. My only other complaint is the button design - the crease around the buttons can get stuff jammed in. If you're willing to replace it when the seal fails, it's got amazing features. The temperature selection, auto-off, remote control, and easy-clean design with wide top and reachable interior are nice. The capacity is amazing, and it's pretty ergonomic, too.
