Bought for cutting under architrave for fitting wooden floor. Nice and easy to use accurately and gives a fine cut. The blade can be released and moved into one of two positions for right or left hand cuts. I used a spacer underneath to give me the correct height of cut. The profile of the blade made it easy to get a level cut. Cant comment on the longevity of the blade as I only had to cut under 7 door frames.

Fantastic quality saw.Yes very good for dovetails and working with dowels but as I am left handed to change the side the handle is on is a game changer for me in some circumstances.The blade can also cope with plastic pipe and angle.

Super quality, what a find!! Grip fits my hand very well, there’s no slipping and the teeth are ultra sharp and cut effectively. Very happy with this purchase.

Build quality is good, handy to have an offset blade, or so I thought. I've tried to use this a few times just because I bought it, so I forced myself to try and cut some dovetails. It's really not very easy to use. The teeth are set so that it seems to cut on the back stroke and the forward stroke, so it's hard to push in either direction. After persevering with it, and not really getting anywhere, I ended up using my trusty spear and jackson normal saw, which cuts twice as quickly and is much more accurate if you have the room. It might have been just me, but this was a waste of money. Perhaps a more experienced carpenter would find it more useful, but I didn't.

This is a great value cranked saw. Just what I needed to cut up a piece of furniture and get a clean edge.

I didn't know about these saws until I saw one in a YouTube video. I am installing vinyl plank flooring Using this to cut the door frames, rather than lots of measurements & cutting the planks to fit around 6 doors, made the job a whole lot easier & quicker. I could have used my multitool, but this was noise free compared to the multitool.
