Very high quality, natural as possible product. Love it.
This is quite possibly the best cocoa butter I have come across, no doubt because it is cacao butter meaning it has been extracted at the purest state of the seed, I am also pleased to see the company has utilised the cold pressing method meaning this butter is absolutely divine not only in its purity with the vitamins and beneficial compounds preserved at their best state, but it smells, feels and tastes gorgeous too. The scent from this butter is beautiful and highly intense . The texture is very tight and shaves cleanly but yields to a soft oil on contact with the skin (or body temperature for those processing for food products) I used this in skincare products and I found it far superior to cheaper cocoa butters tried in the past, it has a creaminess and unctiousness to it that added a wonderful 'slip' to the balm. It is such a beautiful product I would definitely try this in edible products and would certainly repurchase, I'd rather use a little amount of this than a lot of a inferior but cheaper product.

Smells absolutely beautiful, tastes gorgeous but rock hard
I’ve wanted to buy some good quality cacao butter for a while now to try my hand at making raw chocolate. This was about £5 and it’s a good quality brand that I’ve bought items from in the past. The butter had a good colour, great smell and solid consistency. For those of you who haven’t tried this before, it’s not like other butters where it’s soft and oily, it’s a very ‘dry’ fat if that makes sense. What I don’t understand is how people manage to put this on their hair? Anyway, to get it out of the tub you’ll need a lot of strength. You could melt it but then what’s the point of paying over the odds for a raw product if you’re going to be heating it anyway. I chip some off and gently melt it and mix it into cereal or cacao powder to make raw chocolate, sweetened with a little coconut sugar. Absolute bliss, tastes and smells like heaven.

Tasty cacao butter
I have tasted other brands of raw cacao butter prior to buying this, and I must say it's certainly one of the best tasting I've had (it's almost like unsweetened white chocolate and doesn't taste as bitter as some of the other brands I tested). It melts easily and seems to be of really good quality. To use it, put the tub in your fridge (it says on the package to put it in the freezer, but I have found it's not necessary and freezing may compromise the taste and nutritional value) so that the butter becomes solid, then just pop it out of the tub, take a sharp knife and cutting board and scrape the butter to make shavings (watch the fingers!). Melt them 'au bain marie' or just add them in your blender or processor, they will melt too. I usually make shavings of the whole butter in one go as it can be a messy business, then keep them in a jar in the fridge, ready to use.

Bought this for one thing and using it for something else!
I purchased this intending to use it to make chocolate. I am yet to do this but have found myself using it on my skin which has been nice. I've used commercial cocoa butter on my skin before but this is the first time using 'cacao' butter. There is no major difference, just the process to form the cold pressed butter. Knowing that it is raw and organic, encourages me to use on my skin more as I am trying to move away from chemical based creams and products. Let's hope it fades my stretch marks too!

Beautiful butter
I bought this for my hair. It melts quicker in hands, with an initially grainy texture before becoming oil compared to other butter I have used. For this reason it's not as convenient to carry a lump around in a bag on a hot day but has other advantages.... melts quickly on lips and for using in composite creams and directly on hair for de-frizzing and gloss. Great smell. Cocoa butter is my new discovery for all round moisturising... a little goes a long way. I'm sure this product is also excellent for making confectionary ...as a beauty element is will make you as smooth as chocolate tastes 😊

Silky smooth and slightly smelly
In fairness to the product, this is my first time ever using cocoa butter, which I couldn’t find anywhere in the shops, so my opinion may be founded on ignorance here.. The smell at first made me wonder if the butter was off, maybe a little rancid. The use by date is 2020, so that’s unlikely. Could just be I’m not used to the organic rawness. Taste wise it works well. Had a go at making vegan white chocolate and I would recommend it for something like that, the chocolatey undertone was definitely there. Have a go, see what you think!

Great for homemade chocolates
Used this product to make chocolates. Some reviews stated how hard it was to use and get out of the tub but I got around this by pushing the block out of the tub from the bottom and onto a plate then grated it to get the exact amount needed. Hope this helps other potential buyers.😀

but she loved it for her belly
This stuff is so lovely, we had to purchase another one for my step-daughter during her pregnancy. We use it all the time for our hands, but she loved it for her belly. Either way, it smells fantastic, feels amazing, and works perfectly. It's quite hard in the pot, so we use a mustard spoon to scrape a bit out, but then it melts immediately in your hands and does a great job of moisturizing.
