It's a brick, but it's a very beautiful brick!
After finishing the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam a couple weeks ago, my overall experience behind it is very positive. It took me about a week to complete with decals in all, even then I skipped out on the base jabber it comes with since the main feature is the Gundam, not some dinky rocket thing it rides. If you plan on putting on decals, you won't be disappointed with the final results, even if it adds a hefty amount of build time and requires no margin of error since there are no duplicates. The complementary color set between the red warning signs and green psycho frame really makes everything pop even if you might need to run your hobby knife along the crease points to make them stick better without coming undone. This kit doesn't pose well, the amount of weapons really make it finicky and parts might fall off, and unless you're as patient as an elephant, don't bother with posing the missile launchers in its hands since the weight of the missile pods and grenades make it nearly impossible with everything attached. HOWEVER, it might be a bit of a nightmare getting it into the right pose, but when you do, there is an amazing sense of gratitude that you got it accomplished since it looks just fantastic. At this point, I'd skip out on this kit with the possibility of an OVA version coming out soon since the Sinanju's getting the same treatment. With a possible variant, I'd go for that over this since we can only assume it will be better since the changes from the Ver. Ka. Unicorn and the OVA Unicorn kit. All in all, I'd say it's a really nice kit if you can invest in the patience, which will pay off, but I'd pass with the possibility of an OVA version coming out in the near future.

Freaking Amazing.
When I first saw this on Amazon and looked through it, I had that attitude of, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!" And it was well worth it. I love this model. It's looking so "beast" on my display with my other gundams. The giant weapon sandwiches on each arm just look so powerful and intimidatingly sexy plus the weapon pack on the back. I fortunately had good luck with the psychoframe parts since they didn't break because at this time I'm writing this review, I'm building it's sister unit, the Unicorn Banshee MG. There were so many parts that broke from the Banshee and I'm looking back at this beast and thinking that I was really lucky. The only bad things about this gundam is that it can be kind of repetitive building some of the parts ESPECIALLY the beam gating guns. Everything else, it was extremely fun to build. When I was finished with it, I couldn't believe I was already done. It's worth your time and money :)

Katoki Hajime Gundam model is cool!
I bought this model one month ago, It took me a whole weekend to build up. It is tall and strong. I find it looks awesome even without any decals. Later on, it took me several hours to transform it from "Unicorn Mode" into "Destroy Mode". Even though some parts are tricky to transform, I still enjoy it very much. To put all the decals on is not a easy job. Because there are hundreds of decals. I spent 3 weeks or so to put all the decals on little by little. The finished model did look fantastic. And what makes me really happy is that it looks exactly the same as the picture printed on the box. It makes me feel it deserves all my hard working. This model suit is well made, very fun and very beautiful. It is a good choice model suite for any body who loves Katoki Hajime Gundam models.

Solid Gundam kit
Got a legit Gundam kit at a time when these were selling out at brick-and-mortar stores in my city. It's pretty nice, but wouldn't recommend for beginners

Massive gundam with lots of details
I bought it for my older brother. He hates jigsaw puzzles but will build a mg gundam any day and take his sweet time. Go MG if you want better details than a RG. Not for beginners as it takes longer, has moveable mechanisms, requires precision nips, but definitely worth the results.

ALL OF THE DAKKA
If you like big, complicated kits with lots of guns and hundreds of decals, then this kit is for you. If not, you might want to give it a pass. Pros: - Just look at all those weapons! This guy comes with literally dozens of guns and other accessories, and it can even hold them all at the same time! It even comes with some that the Unicorn never actually used in the show. - While it remains as finicky as ever, the Unicorn itself is a good kit in its own right. The difference between its two modes, and the fact that when transformed it gains an entire new secondary color (green, in this case) is just great. - All the connections for the various accessories are rock solid. The joints will need some tightening, but none of the weapons will fall off once they're bolted on. - Very few of those accessories are "just for show". For example, the bazookas don't just clamp onto the backpack and do nothing else; they can be held just as easily as any of the weapons... Cons: - ...that is to say, not very easily. Those 2.0 hands have a real hard time holding some of the weapons, especially the spears, the magnums, and the grenade launchers. The spears in particular have a very awkward and loose handle that isn't tight enough to keep it pointed in any direction but down. You HAVE to tighten that joint if you have any intention of making the Unicorn hold it. - Those massive boosters look great, but unless you have a stand, forget about trying to make the kit balance while they're attached. They don't connect very well to the frames that are supposed to prop them up; they just kind of rest on them. Without the boosters, however, it can stand without a problem. - As per usual with MG Unicorns, the flexibility isn't great. Not that you'll be needing much flexibility if you have him hold everything. And as always, the ankles are pretty weak. - The finickiness of the transformation gimmick can be a real pain; if you thought it was hard to keep everything in place while posing the regular Unicorn, it's even worse with the FA version. - The arms simply cannot do anything but hang there if he's holding everything possible. Again, tightening the joints helps. A dab of superglue will do the trick, as long as you let it dry completely first. - The Base Jabber is very silly-looking; good thing it's just an extra. All in all, it's a great display piece; a great brick kit. If that's your thing, go for it. If you like messing around with your models on a regular basis, this one might be a bit of a pain. And for goodness' sake, make sure you have a stand if you get it; it makes everything easier.
