THIS BULB IS AMAZING
I was hesitant to order after reading some of the reviews about it not lasting very long. I have purchased three of these bulbs so far and they are wonderful. Now I have had times when if I bump them, they would cut out and not turn back on but I unplug and let them rest and cool off. They have run for hours and hours at a time. I use them for bleaching t-shirts when I have no sun. Two nights ago, I was bleaching a t-shirt and had the blubs hanging from the shower rod in the spare bathroom (I bleach there because there is a window to open and an exhaust fan). I had sprayed shirt with bleach and adjusted the lights where they needed to be turned around to leave and one of the work light clamps slipped off of the shower Curtin rod and the light dropped straight to the floor. I just knew it would be busted. The aluminum shade was bent, and the bulb was loose in the socket. I put it in the sink to cool off and when I came back to remove the bulb, I was so upset with myself that I hadn't checked to make sure that it was on the rod tightly, I thought let's see if it still works. I screwed the bulb back in and plugged it in and LET THERE BE LIGHT. I was so happy that it works and very impressed that it took a hard hit like that and survived. This is the brand I will always order.

Make sure to measure your light fixture.
Great light, does what's intended. My Skink has come out of hiding, eating and way more active with the UVA and UVB. My issue was of my own creation by not measuring the 5.5" light fixture, as the bulb protrudes about 3/8" from the dome. this requires me to move the fixture to a stand. I wish these guys had a more compact bulb for the 5.5" deep dome fixtures.

Tortoises love them!
Got these on sale so we stocked up. We use them exclusively for our turtles and tortoises. They seem to really love them. They bask under the lamps every day. Great value especially on sale!

Updated, Great customer service.
***Update at bottom of review.*** This light works in a pinch, but the 10hr a day maximum is very strict. It only lasted a couple of months when running at 12 hours a day, which is what is recommended for bearded dragons. The heat output was great, the UVA and UVB output was great. It just doesn't last as long as the Powersuns however it is significantly cheaper. I'd only get this bulb in an emergency to hold me over until I could get a better quality, longer lasting bulb. Update: LuckyHerp offered me a refund even though it was past the return window so I will be ordering a second replacemt bulb, if that one lasts longer I will update this review and increase the star rating. However, their customer support team is great and took care of me so they get four stars. I would recommend them based on customer service alone.

Huge disappointment
This bulb is absolute garbage. I've had it less than a month, and the heat output was only consistent for a week, ramping up to temps between 90-95° which is what I was aiming for. It's only on for about 6 hours a day, about 16-18 inches above the basking area of my desert tortoise hatchlings. Less than a month in, sometimes it spikes up to 90°+ for a short while, but majority of the time it's between 80-83° F. I'm hesistant to lower it in the event it spikes up randomly and burns the animals. I plan to replace this bulb as soon as possible.

Buena temperatura
No se si emite la cantidad de UVB y UVA necesaria para mi tortuga , pero si emite el calor necesario lo tengo hace un mes y por el momento sigue calentando muy bien

Great bulb
I’ve had this bulb for almost a year no issues. It’s been plugged in on a timer for my turtle and is on 10hrs a day. About to replace because adventually the UV depletes. I check this with a UV card detector. Highly recommend this bulb.

Great after burn in!
I thought I needed 2 of these to keep things warm enough, but only needed 1. The first one burned out in about a week, and the return was fast and easy. I used the second one in the meantime, make sure that one lasted the month, then swapped to the replacement, which lasted the 6 month lifetime. My recommendation is to keep the old bulbs just in case the new ones suffer from infant mortality as a backup so you have something available while things are shipped back and forth. Otherwise, the lamps have great UV and heat and work perfectly for our bearded dragon.
