Great for the price point
These are great for the money. Yes, they come very smushed in the package. I put them in my dryer for maybe 2 minutes and they all puffed up flawlessly. As far as sound absorbency goes, they work fairly well. I still get minor sound reflection in my studio, but that's to be expected at the price point. They did reduced the sound reflection issue I was having when recording vocals, significantly! I mean c'mon they're 20 bucks for 12 of them. Exactly what I needed for a home studio guy. If I were renting out my space, I'd probably spend more money on something more professional. But they're perfect for my needs.

Room mate said it looks like modern art XD
The acoustic foam does make a difference in audio so I am pretty happy with that.It also covers up empty space so it is a nice addition to the room atmosphere. When I first pulled it out, it did have this strong sharpie smell which I didn't like at all, but after airing it out for a day, the odor disappeared. Also, it didn't upon me until I came in the mail that I needed cardboard, sticky strips (command strips) and tacky glue! The tacky glue to stick the foam onto the cardboard and the command strips to stick the cardboard to the wall.I gave it a whole day to dry on before I stuck it to the wall and so far I am really loving it!Also, I am no pro assembler, music producer, or streamer. Just an average guy who as able to easily assemble everything within an hour (maybe 90min).

For The Money, not bad.
The panels only expand to be about 11.5 x 11.5 inches. This means if you're purchasing a specific number of panels for a specifically sized space, you may need more panels or experience some margin of error. I won't complain for the price, however.

SOAK IN WATER FIRST!
They will completely return to perfect shape if u soak them for like an hr. First! Wring them out and let them dry before installing them. And they’ll be perfect. No having to wait 24 hrs and still have deformed corners.

Cheapest Things Ever
They don’t stick to the wall with ANYTHING. They fall apart and they’re just a waste of money. Don’t bother.

Inaccurate discription and junk product.
Update: Since I take these reviews pretty seriously, I felt compelled to amend this one as I posted when I was irritated. After sitting for a couple days, the product did puff up to a legitimate thickness and they will probably work just as well. I am still irritated about the whole ordeal but they did mention this in the comments so it is partly my fault. I will say that the color is definitely off from the main photo and it’s very misleading. I’m giving it a few more stars but still not ideal.Garbage. What good is next day delivery when you have to wait 24-48 hours to return to normal size. I’ve heard water can speed it up but after spending $60 on two sets, I’m not in the mood to wash 48 square feet of studio foam. The worst part, the color. I have similar acoustic foam in my studio now and it’s identical to the photo of this item. However, this one is a pale light blue and looks like a faded version of what I have. Sending back. If you don’t care about accuracy or having to revive something you just purchased then go ahead and buy.

these worked out great. will order more soon. I seen some reviews on here that said they sucked and did not regain shape from vacuum shipping, but you all did not read the instructions. I put mine under some water and let them soak it up than wrang them out and let dry. Came out perfectly. Excellent product.
