Moisturizing Shampoo Maca essence Sulphate Free Deep Nourishing Shampoo for Dry and Damaged Hair 500ml

I previously had the conditioner from this company and was very impressed, so I thought I'd try their shampoo. Now at £25 a bottle, it's not cheap, however it is for professional use in salons, and having used it, it's great. I felt extravagant getting this, but it washes my hair well with one application, you do need to work it in well to get a good lather, and I have used a bit of water to kick it off more, so it then lathers up well. I have waist length hair, so need about 7 or 8 pumps of the shampoo, and it should last me a while with a 500 ml bottle, but if you have much shorter hair, it'll last you longer than me. My hair smells nice, is in good condition and looks good. I have combined the shampoo with the wash out conditioner and also with the leave in conditioner, on different occasions. Worth treating yourself!

I absolutely love this shampoo! The texture feels rich, and the Maca essence really makes a difference – my hair feels deeply moisturized and so much smoother after just a couple of washes. It lathers well without leaving any heavy residue, and the scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering. I’ve noticed less frizz and more shine, and my hair feels healthier overall. Definitely a new favorite in my routine, worth every penny!

This shampoo is expensive currently priced at £26.99 for the 500ml bottle, I usually use cheaper shampoos. My only prior experience of an expensive organic shampoo wasn’t a happy one, it made my scalp itch and was a waste of £20.00. Why is this shampoo so expensive, I think it’s due to the good quality of ingredients it contains and doesn’t rely on silicone for shine. Is sulphate free which is know to dry the hair and scalp. Also, phosphate and paraben free. Is stated to be cruelty free but does contain hydrolysed keratin, the source of the keratin isn’t made clear but from what I understand it is usually extracted from sheep’s wool so I don’t believe that this shampoo is fully vegan friendly. I’m not too keen on the design of the bottle, it reminds me of something you would get prescribed on the NHS not a luxury product. There was also a white label stuck on the front of my bottle which also reminded me of a prescription label. The pump is nice and easy to use. The shampoo itself is a white creamy consistency. Didn’t foam up too much which is a good sign of a quality shampoo and washed out easily. Has a pleasant scent. Does it make my hair feel softer or look shinier? Not yet I think I will have to use for many weeks before there will be a noticeable difference. If you are after a luxury shampoo which gives shine without silicone I would definitely recommend.
