Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer for Smartphones (Mint Green) - Sticky-back prints, Pocket-size, Printer Only

I didn't expect much looking at the reviews, but after having it for a month or so I quite like it. It's true that the quality isn't the best, and colors lean slightly blue/darker. But as I had only planned to use it for personal use, it doesn't bother me too much, and it usually does not pose to an issue. The sticky backs on the zink paper are especially convinient for pasting in journals, and the collage function in the app is nice for making mini prints to save some paper. you can fit up to eight pictures in the collage as pictured and the quality isn't much lost even when shrunk, which was a pleasant surprise. I would not recommend the stickers and templates in the app though, they turn out looking cheap and decrease the overall quality of photos. The battery does run out relatively quickly within a few prints, so it probably would not be best if you need to print a lot of photos at once. Not sure how it will last long term though, will update. Overall, despite some minor drawbacks I am currently very satisfied with this printer and will definitely get a lot of use out of it.

This printer is fabulous!!!! I compared it to the Polaroid (dark and poor quality) and the Fuji Instax SP-2. Here so a little report. Pic on left is the Canon and the other is Instax. Canon - The best picture quality, pics are great, uses normal photo paper (not like the Instax), printer is small and can easily carry it with you, connects via Bluetooth, so so easy to connect and use! Polaroid - Worse picture, dark and even when having to edit the pic before printing, it still did not come out well. However the size is good and connection is very easy. Fuji Instax - Has a built in WiFi, have to keep switching between the printer and Internet (e.g. when it needed updates), so this is cumbersome, pics are printed on the old fashioned style Polaroid paper (see photo). Very good quality pics and good contrast. Bottom line: I cam keeping the Canon (the best) and the Fuji Instax SP2. They are fun to take to events even if the cost per print is pricey - the fun factor is awesome!

Prints really good

I have loved this little printer! Pro: The back of the picture can be pulled off to make a sticker. The set up was really easy and I have never had a problem with it not connecting to my phone via bluetooth. The app is easy to navigate and has some fun features (that I haven't tried) The pictures are good enough quality for me. Taking the back off and putting new paper in is fast, easy and mess free. I have had this product for a year and a half, I use it pretty consistently and haven't noticed a decline in quality. Cons: Sometimes the pictures can print with a blue tint. The photo paper that it prints on is a little expensive. (I have not tried using a different brand, I've only used the brand that it comes with and recommends). There is only about 8-10 prints it can do before needing to be recharged. (I just plug it in the whole time I print and have been able to print 25 photos with no issues). Once in a while I have had the App kick me out, but it has been easy to get back in and resume que. I would probably buy this again but I also would like to compare it to similar products. Overall great product and i am happy with what I am getting out of it.

Purchased as an alternative to an instant camera for travel, I am happy with this mini printer. I can't wait to use these stickers in my Maui Travel Journal. I have printed two stickers so far: a Maui Map for the Journal cover and a picture of my children ;) for the inside cover, since they have to stay home. :( Pros: -App is easy to install and use. -they don't steal your photos, the previous review only posted PART of the agreement. The app lets you share images to Instagram, etc. And that's all that phrasing says. You can find the EULA online. It's pretty clear and standard if you read the whole thing. Most people won't bother lol - great for computer made images. I used GIS software to make a custom Map of Maui for our upcoming trip and it looks great printed! Another reviewer printed Lisa Frank posters and I'm kinda wanting to do the same <3 -it takes about 20 seconds to print. That's not bad for a little wireless box! Cons: -The photo paper comes in 10 packs and you can't switch them out. However, you can easily change the layout in the app and print smaller stickers on one 3"X2" sticker. Will probably save the circle stickers for the post-trip scrapbook. -Pictures look dark when printed. May need to increase brightness in app before printing. It would be awesome if the app used the same color model as the paper uses and showed what the printed version will look like! HINT HINT CANON! -Best to use the "suggested" border colors. A custom Teal color came out looking really wrong! (but strangely right in the picture of the sticker? Weird.) -Need a case for sure! This thing is flimsy. We got the Fintie case (see pics) in Emerald Illusions and it is a pretty good fit for device, cord and a 50 pack of paper. I will never buy HP again, but I'm starting to love Canon products!

Don't bother with HP - Canon is the way to go. Best little printer for Zink paper there is. I wish the app was as nice as the HP app, but it works. The UI is a bit more "retro", so to speak. It's easy to use, and not as expensive as the Instax offerings. Print quality is amazing (when coming from HP), and pretty nice even compared to Instax. Definitively something to bring with you when traveling or even just for visits with grandma! Especially people without computers or smartphones will love a little keepsake.

Imprime muy bien

Un Gran producto, fácil de usar, buen precio, las fotos salen con muy buena calidad, tiene su propia app para editar las fotos, yo recomiendo hacer algunas pruebas de impresión para saber si tus fotos necesitan más o menos brillo para que se vean bien cuando las imprimas. Lo único que no me encanta es el tamaño de las fotos, me gustaría que fueran más grandes.

Worth the wait! It takes long for it to be delivered but super happy with the product.
