Great toddler bed, could use middle support slat
We got this bed to transition our 15mo out of his crib. We opted for the queen size so we can sleep with him if we wanted. The frame came in one box, relatively easy to put together. Only the metal plates that connected the side panels did not have holes predrilled so it was a pain getting the screws in. Everything else was fine. No strong smell like other reviews mentioned. No chips or damages. The design is great. Sleek and simple. Quality is decent. The wood isnât the best but also not the worst. The only reason why this isnât a 5 star is because the slats are useless. Thereâs no middle suppose slat so the mattress sinks significantly in the middle. If itâs just the kid, fine, but when my husband or I lay on it, it sinks down and creates a slope. Weâll have to go make a makeshift middle support beam ourselves. We got an 8â mattress off amazon for this frame, fits exactly in the frame with about 4â left on the railing to act as a barrier. The door is a cute option to keep the kids in lol This is a good buy, not overly expensive but I would stick to twin or full size to avoid the middle slat sinking issue.

Strong smell
Donât purchase it if you care about new furniture smell. It has a very strong new furniture smell that smells like chemicals and make my through hurt. I put it in my yard for 12 days in open air and the smell is still there. My baby and I only slept in it for one night and the next morning my nose stuffed and my baby sneezed for four times, which she never does in the morning. Donât recommend buying if you care about the smell. Had to return it.
