Pumpkin Spice Glaze
This is a limited edition specialty flavor that is going to require an active imagination to find uses for it. It has the punchy tang of balsamic vinegar and to my palate, a strong peppery ginger flavor and background hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. I drizzled it over the classic cream cheese and marshmello fluff fruit dip and added some orange zest and the pumpkin spice glaze changed the vibe of the basic fruit dip and gave it some tangy spark. I thought it was an interesting change, my husband, not so much. Because the warmer spices like cinnamon are relatively muted in the glaze, I think this could be used in savory dishes as well. Perhaps as a finishing drizzle on pork chops, ham, or chicken. It could also work in and on some Middle Eastern dishes. The QR code on the box takes you to a nice website where a variety of vinegar based products are available but there are no recipes or suggestions for the use of the pumpkin spice glaze. This will be an interesting product to play with. And if all else fails, I'll use it to create a fall themed shrub with apple juice, club soda and the pumpkin spice vinegar.

Weirdly delicious & versatile
This sounded very strange, but I was intrigued. I have a huge affinity for vinegars, so I'll try just about anything in the genre. I was incredibly surprised by how good this glaze is- it has just enough of a tart, vinegar bite without being too acrid. The spice balance is perfect. My very first thought was how good this could be in cocktails, but I also think it could make an interesting Italian soda. I also think it would be extremely delicious on a pork chop. I see myself getting much more use out of this than I originally thought- it's not just a novelty product.

Almost like sweet and sour sauce?
I ordered this expecting it to be gross, but it's actually not that bad?? The first thing that hits you is the sour, then a notable artificial cinnamon candy taste (not natural cinnamon), then it's quite sweet and sour and pretty much just tastes like sweet and sour sauce, lol. It seems like they were kind of afraid to go too far with this and pulled back too much, making it kind of boring. Cinnamon candy was literally the only pumpkin spice element to it and I picked up nothing else resembling it. Overall, if you're a PSL addict and love to try anything pumpkin during the fall, give this a shot, but don't expect an extreme flavor.

Tastes artificial to me even though it's not
I love pumpkin spice, and I love vinegar. So, I was excited to try this De Nigris Pumpkin Spice Glaze. Unfortunately, the taste is disappointing. The ingredients seem fairly natural, but it still tastes a bit strange and artificial to me. There's a strong unpleasant note that I can't put my finger on, but it almost seems like an artificial sweetener aftertaste even though that isn't an ingredient. It's sweet, but there isn't much tanginess to it and any spice is mild or maybe they are just overpowered. The thickness is nice for a glaze, but I was hoping for more zing. The bottle was nicely presented in a box But, the cap opened easily. It works well, but I don't think it was sealed. Maybe the one I got was bad and that's why this has such an off flavor? I really wanted to like this, but it's not for me, and I order everything pumpkin that I can.

So this is a thing that exists...
I didn't really know what to expect. You dont really think pumpkin spice + vinegar as a pairing you would come up with on your own. I didnt either love or strongly dislike it. It is not overly sweet or overly vinegar. It is honestly pretty well balanced between the sweet and acid. I don't get as much of the pumpkin spice flavors as I was expecting, but I think that paired with other things that also use pumpkin spice this could be a very nice accenting flavor. I could see using a drizzle over some pumpkin bars or on top of a pumpkin or apple pie, maybe over a cheesecake. I think there are options, all sort of falling into that fall spices flavor profile.Unique, probably not for everyone. But an interesting item to have on hand if you are into that sort of thing.

A unique flavor
I ordered this on a whim. Seriously, why wouldn't you try a sweet and savory pumpkin spice wine vinegar reduction glaze? I settled on a pork tenderloin for my maiden voyage with this product. The tenderloin was cooked in the oven and the glaze was applied in the last 10 minutes and I used the broiler for the last 5 minutes. After removing it from the oven, I drizzled a little more. The flavor really was a blend of vinegar and a sweetness that put cloves and nutmeg up front and pumpkin only as a minor note. I can't say I would use this with pork again- it was just ok- but I will be looking for other recipes.

Has science gone too far? Pumpkin spice-flavored balsamic glaze tests your bravery.
I've tried many pumpkin spice laced oddities, such as pumpkin spice teriyaki sauce and lasagna for some highlights, but never a balsamic glaze. So I looked forward to trying this out, if anything to see if this Mashup actually works. And to my surprise, it actually tastes really good! It's overpoweringly tangy and a little spicy in the beginning, but the aftertaste is when the pumpkin spice comes out. It's very rich of nutmeg, ginger, and pumpkin flavor to be exact, and giving this a surprisingly nice balance. I drizzled a little of this on some pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try, it has a very unique and biting flavor. And honestly the only gross thing about this glaze is the bright orange color it has thanks to the carrot juice they added.

Interesting, unique product
This is a very interesting product. I tried it because I was curious. It tastes mostly balsamic with slight sweetness and spice. I'm tried this in a shredded cabbage salad and that flavor profile worked well together. I also brushed it lightly onto the pineapples of an upside-down cake and it added a unique but nice flavor. The product arrived well packaged with no leakage and an expire date well into the future.
