Great gift
Adorable little bedside light. Material is soft and squishy. We use it on the timer setting every night and the battery stays charged for at least a month or more. Super cute and easy to use.

Soft to the touch. My kid sleeps with it. Seems fairly durable. The on/off button is really easy to active. Charges easily with c type. Adorable.

Super Fun (!) Axolotl Night Light
First, I must confess that I'm almost 65 years old and this is for me. Secondly, my 70 year old friend is equally enchanted. If you like axolotls, don't hesitate to get one of these. The manufacturer also makes a duck and a capybara, but ... who cares? They have an axolotl! A soft squishy pink one at that. It's only available in pink; the duck and capybara are yellow. The light is controlled by a pressure switch that's activated by pushing its head or by squeezing its cute round squishy body. There are a dim and a not-so-dim light setting, but there's not much difference between them. A third tap or squeeze turns it back off. In the base, there's a switch that turns it completely off, lets it stay on, or turns it off after 20 minutes. It's cordless and recharges with a type-C cord. It seems to be fairly robust, so I can see that it would withstand being smashed and poked. I like that it can go anywhere because it's a toy, but this one will be on my night stand as a true night light.

This is very cute and my daughter loved it. So far the battery life is good since we only use the 20 minute setting at a time.

Perfect for kids
Had this for almost 6 months, it is the perfect nightlight. Super squishy, not too bright. Great for trying to please two kids in one large room with ambient light and bought one for each. Different levels of brightness which is key. One kid loves the 20 minute timer, the other loves the all night function.
