Great all around cold weather running shoe
I am a regular runner. I wanted a pair of solid shoes that could stand up to the elements but still provide the comfort and performance I needed for running. I read up on the Untraboost C.Rdy running shoe and gave them a try.Fit and feel: These shoes are true to size. Unless you have wide feet or are planning to wear thick socks when running, I would recommend your regular size. They initially feel snug but after playing with the lacing system and wearing them, they are very comfortable. They provide a good amount of "spring" which helps feel like one is being propelled forward when running. I find them to be a very comfortable shoe both for running and walking. Some people complained that it takes them "5 minutes" to put these shoes on and I don't get that. These shoes don't have a tongue and are "slip ons" with a locking lacing system. All one needs to do is loosen the locking system, pull the "lacing cage" apart and the shoes are very easy to get on and off.Style and materials: I think the style is pretty cool and the colorways offered are great for the price. They come lace with a "locking system", pull the laces tight, slide down the lock and you are good to go. On my summer running shoes, they have traditional laces that allow me to do a "heel lock" for a tight fit. These Ultraboosts are not designed like that whether you use the locking laces or the traditional laces that come with the shoes. The material is water repellant but not "waterproof", they will repel water but if you are running in puddles your feet will get wet. The materials all seem top notch and there is some stretch in the toe box which adds to the comfort. There is some slight padding in the heals which help hold the shoe to your feet nicely.Performance: if you are getting this because you are a "sneaker head" and just plan to walk around in them, you'll love them. If you are a runner, unless you enjoy "minimalistic" running shoes these perform very well. I ran this summer in a pair of ASIC Gel excite 7s and to be honest I don't feel much difference in the "spring" of these shoes, especially considering these cost a 3rd of the price. However, these shoes do not have the heal padding, the water resistance, or the "speed lacing" system of these Ultraboosts. They are warm. I ran today in 20-degree weather with just regular socks and my feet were warm and comfortable. I have had no blisters or soreness wearing them. Again, these are VERY comfortable shoes. They also have Continental Rubber on the treads which provide good grip for slippery surfaces. They feel very good when running.Botton line: True to size, only get a 1/2 size up if you have wide feet or plan to wear thick socks. They perform well as a running shoe and provide good warmth, grip and water resistance for running in the elements. Price may be a factor if one is looking to wear these as casual athletic shoes. I recommend these for winter runners, though there are more "serious" choices out there at a high price point!

Durable & comfortable, excellent traction, great value
Indeed, these are somewhat difficult to put on initially. However, give it 2 weeks and you will be glad you stuck with them. You'll end up getting them on faster than your last pair of shoes, as the modern lacing system allows you to strap on this jammypac with great ease. I live in NYC and usually get my 10,000 steps per day. These are by far the most durable and comfortable walking shoes I have owned, and they have good water resistance (read: not waterPROOF) and great traction, so you dont even have to think about a different pair for a rainy/snowy day. I have put many miles on these over the last few months, and the treads show only minimal signs of wearing so far. One caveat: because of the material, the insoles will stink. I'd recommend getting some odor eaters or those Arm & Hammer shoe balls.

Great fit
The best sneakers for working out or working long hours, also perfect comfort for everyday wear

Super comfy; tread wears too quickly; hot
3.5 Stars rounded up to 4 Stars. Recommended w/ reservations. These are probably the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. I feel like I'm barefoot, and there is just enough room in the toe box for comfort -- not too big, not too small. No heel rubbing, and the interior of the shoe is wearing fine. I intended to use them for running, but decided just to keep them as a walking shoe.Despite the great fit, I'm WAY disappointed in the tread wear. I may have worn these 20 times at most for less than 2 hours each time, yet the tread on the bottom is practically completely worn down. Considering these have the Continental rubber on them, this is unacceptable. I've has several Continentals before, and they never wore down this quickly. I've never seen a pair of shoes wear like this period. This is so disappointing, considering the price point. Not really worth what I spent on them at all.Only other complaint I have about them is they wear warm. They don't breathe well, so your feet get pretty sweaty in then. Surprisingly, this doesn't cause an odor though, at least not for me.

I solved the creaking noise, these shoes are great.
I love ultraboost. I have about 5 pairs. These cold weather ones looked cool. They do have some water repellance and a unique fit around the ankle. My complaint is the noise. After about a week, these are the squeakiest shoes I have ever owned. Sounds like the plastic in the sole has come loose and the foam is rubbing with every step. Super noisy!Update: turns out the squeaking is coming from between the rubber panels that hold the laces and the rubber seams in the shoes below. Get a little baby powder or some dirt in there and the squeak will quickly go away. Review updated to 5 stars.Update: just bought my second pair, really love these. I run in them for fitness and I do a lot of bass fishing. The keep the splashes from the bass from soaking my toes and keep my back pain free. I don’t know about warmth as they breathe really well. Also, wore them on the beach, the way they wrap my ankle they kept a lot of the sand out.

Good for outdoor activities
Bought it to play discgolf. It's perfect.Pros-Water resistance works as advertised.-Good traction.-Wide enough toebox for my wide feet.Cons-The entrance of the shoe is rubberized, making it slightly annoying to put on. (But helps with the whole water resistance.)Overall, good shoe. I did go a half size up from my other shoes and it fits perfectly.

Not warm or water resistant
I have many pairs of Adidas Ultraboost shoes and love them. These ColdRdy shoes, unfortunately, are a disappointment.I wanted something for winter use and have to say these shoes don’t measure up.They don’t keep my feet any warmer than my regular Ultraboosts and they are NOT water resistant (the last rainstorm we had my socks were soaked). So what’s the point?Do better Adidas. Especially for what these shoes cost.
