Very Good Product. It looks elegant and is very compact. Has a battery life of about 3-4 Hours on 4G LTE mode, as per my experience. I always use it while it is plugged in, so there is no drain in battery life as I use this as my Wifi Router. The coverage is very good. Good for flats with approx. 1500 sq.ft. area, there will be pretty good signal strength within this area. If you talk about coverage, you get approx. 3000-4000 sq. ft. of Wifi coverage, where there will be no signal loss within this area, which is pretty insane, as compared to the size and price of this product. Also, I have heard that this can be unlocked and be used with any other sim, 2G,3G or 4G, which is not the case with JioFi, which I think, is great. The performance is also really good. Overall, I am satisfied. Extras:- 1.It has NFC! I don't know what is the purpose of this but it's good to have it. 2.The battery capacity is 1500 mAh. 3.You have to press and hold the central button to boot up this device. Same for shutting it down. You also get a HiLink App for this device on Google Play, which is great for managing the device. 4.It only supports 2.4 Ghz Wifi. 5.It can connect upto 10 devices at the same time.

Some info to ease your 1st hand experience: To start the device you need to long press the center button for 2-3 seconds. The wifi network will be established in 10-15 seconds. When the network light shows green, it means you're connected to 4g. Yellow means 3g. Red means 2g. Now Pros: Easy to use. Just put the sim and start the device. It will connect to internet. Looks wise it's nice and slim. Cons: Battery life could have been better. 3 hours at max. There could have been display indicator rather than led indicator. Conclusion: For 1k it is a nice deal.

Device is very good in terms of quality and price point specially the device is reliable bcoz the company behind is huawei. Actually some of feature jiofi device i was expecting in this device but initially you will not get that if i highlight some of point is -->when u connect directly the device via usb to pc the USB THETRING was not working -->device dose not work without battery inserted i mean if i directly connect via wall charger without battery inserted it will not work unlike jiofi device bcoz battery is not reliable it might swollen or damage with time as happens with my jiofi...but jiofi work even without battery inserted -->one more thing i wanted was the feature like dongle ,if dongle is connected to wall charger and if ther is power cut the modem switch off now we don't need to manually start the dongle if the power resumes but in jiofi we need to start it manually after every power on off cycle. FORTUNATELY MY FRIENDS ALL OF THE FEATURES AND LIMITATIONS MENTIONED ABOVE ARCHIVED AND ELIMINATED AFTER UNLOCKING THE DEVICE thats why i called it 110% paisa vasool in 999. i am mentioning these things here bcoz some of buyer friends may face these issue with time.so it might be helpful for them.

Before buying this, I was using internet on my laptop using mobile WiFi hotspot from smartphone. I was getting good speed on opening regular website, even those with lots of images as in shopping sites. But I was getting poor download speed. It was taking 10 minutes or more to download 21 MB file. And YouTube videos play with buffer most of the time. So, I bought this airtel hotspot with hope of getting fast download and YouTube video play speed compare to mobile hotspot. But my hope was dashed. I am getting the same speed on this airtel hotspot as with my mobile hotspot. So, I regret buying this, but didn't return the device as it is not fault of device itself. I am living in rural area which is the reason of slow speed. Sim slot design is not good. Nowadays all sims are smart sim (pre-cut). But this 4g hotspot has full sim slot. When we insert pre-cut sim with adapter, sim is getting stuck when we remove it later. We have to put some thick flat paper under the sim and then pull out the sim. Mobile technicians know this trick. But many mango people don't know this trick and they will likely pull out the stuck sim with force. This will damage the sim slot. Airtel and other dongle manufacturers should provide nano sim slot. If they prefer the full sim slot, then provide one with latch like in old Nokia keypad phones. Tip for new user: First connect your device with usb cable to computer and type 192.168.1.1. and then change settings like ssid and wifi password. Without connecting to the computer first, your computer will show airtel signal, but when you use password, you can't connect to the internet. So, first you have to connect the device to computer. Thereafter, you can use the device without keeping it connected to the computer with usb cable.

This has awesome speeds and lets me connect multiple devices for internet and having only one recharge. Speeds are nice and this is very useful if you use multiple devices and travel a lot. I don't get proper signal at my home but when I travel its performer. So that's why I purchased it for.... because when I'm at home I've my broadband connection. So overall it is really worth. Pros : 1. Airtel has fastest 4G speeds. 2. Very easy to use & portable. 3. Good for travelling and people who use multiple Wi-Fi devices. Cons : 1. 6 hours battery life is sometimes not sufficient. (I would carry power bank, lol). 2. Some places doesn't have 4G signal. 3. Occasionally heats.

Very happy with this hotspot. Get good range for wifi and also for mobile signal. Did a speedtest, got 13 Mbps down / 2.5 Mbps up. Battery lasts for few hours easily (with 2 bars signal). It is portable. Best thing I liked is that I can send/receive SMS from the browser/app. Edit: Updating my review after 2 months. It has become such a pain to use this hotspot. Have to reboot every 10 mins. I made a mistake on relying on this for my office work. At some point, it does not connect at all for about 3-4 hours. Now problem is, if the device faces problems connecting to 4G, it creates problem accessing the settings page via Wi-Fi ... WT hell ... I gave up after non-stop restarting the device, changing modes between 4G/3G. This device just can't function for even up to an hour. Same SIM I remove and put in mobile, i works perfectly ... Sorry to those guys who bought this device based on my previous 5-star review, ... really sorry.

Network range is good but there is a heating issue for long hours working. Battery drains very fast.

Excellent device and excellent speed of airtel 4G in my area . I am getting even 30 mbps speed in peak hours in my area. People who complaining about device please try to understand its only a wifi modem the internet speed totally depend on the quality of network in particular area. recently i had Jio wifi but the speed of jio 4g is getting very slow as there number of customer increases due to cheep cost of data. average speed of jio i am getting in my area is only .800 kbps that why i switch to Airtel again its bit expensive than jio but connectivity and speed is reliable much more reliable than jio and others 4g players.
