Sparkling Clean Pool & Stellar Support – Grandpa Approved!
I’m a grandfather who has owned pools for decades, and the Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum has genuinely impressed me like no other cleaner. I have a 12,000-gallon inground fiberglass pool, and this little robot has become my pool’s new best friend. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell it was a quality piece of equipment – solid build, thoughtful design, and no flimsy parts. After using it for a few months this summer, I’m extremely satisfied and want to share my experience. Effortless Setup & Use: Setting up the AquaSense was a breeze, even for a tech-challenged grandpa like me. I just charge it up, drop it in the pool, and press a button. No tangled cords, no external pumps – truly plug-and-play. It’s surprisingly easy to lift out of the water too. When the cleaning cycle is done (it runs for a good 3 hours on a charge, plenty for my pool), the robot intelligently parks near the waterline. This means I don’t have to chase it around or tug on cables – it’s right there waiting to be scooped up with the included hook. And as I lift it out, it automatically purges water, so I’m not hauling a heavy waterlogged unit. My knees and back silently thanked Beatbot from day one! Outstanding Cleaning Performance: In terms of cleaning, this robot delivers beyond expectations. I’ve watched in awe as it cruises along the pool floor in neat patterns, gobbling up leaves, sand, and bugs that used to be a pain to vacuum manually. It climbs my fiberglass walls with ease – I was grinning the first time I saw it scale the walls all the way up to the waterline. It even scrubbed away the faint dirt film on the waterline tiles that I used to scrub by hand. After each session, the pool floor is spotless, the walls are clean, and the waterline is gleaming. My water has never been this crystal-clear consistently, and my grandkids noticed right away. They’ve nicknamed the robot “Wall-E” because it roams and climbs the walls – it’s become a fun attraction when they come for a swim. 😄 In short, my pool has stayed sparkling clean since AquaSense came along. Real-Life Results & Quality: To give some context – my pool is roughly 15x30 feet with varying depth, and the AquaSense covers every inch. It doesn’t get stuck on the drain or the curved corners; it smartly navigates around steps and ladders. I love that it has powerful suction and dual brushes that scrub in both directions – you can actually see it dislodging algae and fine sediment as it goes. The filter basket is a generous size (easily holds all the debris from my pool in one go) and it’s easy to access from the top. Cleaning out the basket is simple: I just pop it open and hose it off. Even the finest particles get trapped now (more on that below). The overall build quality is fantastic – the wheels, brushes, and casing all feel durable. After dozens of cleaning cycles, I see no wear or reduction in performance. It’s clear this robot is built to last, and it’s saving me hours of manual labor each week. As a grandfather who values his relaxing time, that’s priceless! Customer Service – Above and Beyond: I have to highlight Beatbot’s outstanding customer service, because it truly sets this purchase apart. Initially, I noticed that while the AquaSense was picking up the big stuff effortlessly, some very fine dirt (like super tiny dust or pollen sediment) was slipping through the default filter and settling back onto the pool floor. It wasn’t a huge issue – the water was much cleaner than before – but as a bit of a perfectionist, I reached out to Beatbot’s customer support to ask if they had a finer filter option. To my surprise, they responded the same day with genuine concern and knowledge. The rep (shout-out to Winnifer at Beatbot!) was incredibly helpful and friendly. She explained that there is a finer filter available and immediately offered to send one out to me at no charge. I was blown away – I half expected to be told to buy an upgrade, but they proactively shipped me a finer filter basket within a few days. Once I installed the finer filter (which literally took seconds to swap in), it completely solved the issue. Now not a speck of dust escapes – even the super fine silt gets captured. I can actually see the difference: before, I’d occasionally spot a tiny dusting at the bottom if I looked really closely, but now the pool floor stays impeccably clean after each run. The water looks like it belongs in a resort. Beatbot turning a small negative into such a positive experience made me a raving fan. Their quick, generous response showed me that they truly stand behind their product and care about their customers. It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered customer service this excellent for any product. This level of support gives me great confidence in my purchase – I know if I ever have any other questions or issues, they’ll be there to help. Final Thoughts – 5 Stars (Would Give 6 if I Could!): As an actual owner who’s been using the Beatbot AquaSense regularly, I can honestly say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my pool. It keeps my pool floor, walls, and waterline impeccably clean, it’s easy to use and maintain, and the company’s customer service is top-notch. The convenience of a cordless, intelligent pool vacuum means I spend more time swimming and relaxing with my family and less time fiddling with manual vacuums or brushes. My grandkids and I are thoroughly enjoying a clean pool without the usual hassle – Grandpa gets to be the pool hero without breaking a sweat! If you’re on the fence about this pool cleaner, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s real, it works, and it’s backed by a company that cares. The AquaSense has turned my once labor-intensive pool maintenance into a hands-free, worry-free routine. My only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner. Five glowing stars from this happy grandfather! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A solid unit with some quirks
I got this to replace an Aiper that had died two months after its warranty expired. This time, I used a credit card that doubles the manufacturer's warranty. So - 4 years of warranty. The unit is physically larger and heavier than the Aiper. I'm glad I didn't go for the "Pro" version which is clearly even larger and heavier. It seems to be well made, and although it's heavier, it's just as easy to carry as the Aiper, because the ergonomics are better. Nice big grab handle. It has Wifi connectivity when it's out of the pool. But it does not accept Wifi passphrases with embedded spaces. I asked Beatbot's tech support about it, and their suggestion was to change my wifi passphrase. Umm, not happening. I have WAY too many gadgets with that passphrase. Note that I say "passphrase" and not "password". Wifi has supported passphrases since its very inception. Luckily, the cleaner works without wifi. Another issue - that I didn't know before receiving it; The manual says to turn off your pool filters while the cleaner is cleaning. I'm betting that's because the noise in the water confuses their ultrasonic sensor. I don't think that was mentioned in the Quick Start pamphlet. Anyway, the cleaner does work with the pumps running, but I think it's a little confused. My pool is a simple rectangular shape, and for some reason instead of going back & forth with the shape, the cleaner cuts steep diagonals across it, climbing the walls a bit at a severe tilt. The pool hadn't been properly cleaned since the old cleaner gave up, and although we have a power cover on it, a quantity of leaves had wound up on the bottom. The instructions say to clean the pool by hand before using the cleaner for the first clean of the season. Heck with that! I bought this $1K cleaner to *clean*, not to watch me clean :). So I plopped the cleaner in. It did it's thing and then parked at the edge of the pool. I fished it out, and the hopper was completely full. Recharged it and did it again the next day. It's been 3 days of once-a-day cleaning, and now the pool is almost pristine. WRT charging: The unit comes with a charging dock with two big spring loaded terminals that contact connection spots on the side of the cleaner. This seems like a very effective system, and superior to the little rubber-tipped plug that the Aiper had. Much easier to keep clean. The cleaner started parking itself at the far side of the pool, that has a retaining wall. Sure would be nice if I could tell it to park over HERE instead. But not deadly - my pool pole reaches the other side, and the supplied hook is very good - very substantial. The last few cleans, the unit stopped parking itself on the wall. Rather, it just stops somewhere in the middle of the pool. Not deadly - it's easy to fish it out with the pole. In conclusion, this seems to be a good cleaning machine, with some high-tech warts. But no deal killers.

It doesn’t suck
I used this all summer without any issues and it helped keep my pool cleaner for sure. I’d run it 2-3 times a week. It doesn’t suck, it only brushes.

Works Just Like They Say
Love this robot – total game changer! I’ve been using the Beatbot cordless pool robot for a little while now, and I absolutely love it. The fact that it’s cordless is a huge plus—no more dealing with tangled cables or figuring out how far it can reach. It just goes to work and covers the entire pool really well, including the floor and walls. It’s impressive how thorough it is. I can just drop it in, let it do its thing, and come back to a spotless pool. Super convenient, and it saves me so much time compared to manual cleaning. If you're on the fence about getting a pool robot, I highly recommend this one. It’s been reliable, easy to use, and makes pool maintenance a whole lot easier.

Not great at picking up fine particles
I had the Nautilus Dolphin previously. It worked great, but the cord was a constant issue. I switched to the BeatBot for the convenience of not having to mess with a cord, but it doesn’t pick up fine particles as well as out old Dolphin. I run it for as long as possible and it oicks up bigger debris, but there is always fine dirt or sand left around the bottom of the pool.

Must Buy!!
One of the best Poor Vacuum Robot ive purchased, ive had around 8 types of pool vacuums, and none cant compare to the Beatbot, love how it climbs the pool walls and picks up all the sand in the pool. Leaves it clean and ready to get in. Only downside is that is pricey, but its worth it. You wont be disappointed.

Great Pool Vaccum
Best pool vacuum mine could expect. Cleans the side wall as well as the bottom. Does do what I’d call a nitty gritty great job on the bottom

I'm a first-time owner of a robotic pool cleaner, and was a bit worried that this relatively expensive Beatbot AquaSense machine was a bit over the top and a waste. After using it for the first time to do a quick early spring cleaning of my inlaw's inground pool, I'm a bit relieved that it's probably not the wrong decision to get it. Hopefully, with more cleaning runs in the summer, will have more feedback. So far, here's my take on it so far: The machine has a relatively sleek form factor that's neither too large or too compact, and it doesn't weight too much at 20-something lbs, so I can lift and handle it fairly easily. However, it is a bit difficult to lift it out of the pool. The build quality feels premium, with a metallic pearl finish that stands out while it's crawling inside the pool. The top-loading debris basket made it easy to clean and maintenance. In terms of cleaning power, so far it seems good, but during this first run, the pool wasn't too dirty, with only a few pieces of debris at the bottom, and some slight buildup on the walls. The suction power seems to be very effective, as evident in the fine layer of slimy stuff it picked up in the filter. The machine seems to be quite efficient at navigating along the geometric shape of the pool. It first moved along the wall edges to map(?) out the boundaries, and then seems to switch to coverage mode to clean the entire floor first, and then it moves onto cleaning the walls. On the walls, it's able to detect and then clean just above the waterline, before diving back down. Throughout the process, the rubber "tank tracks" seem to adhere firmly to the floor and vertical walls as it travels, and didn't seem to experience any slip at all. This is great as I was worried it'll fall off the wall and flip upside down, needing me to jump in to rescue it. The battery life is good, at probably around 2 to 3 hours or a bit more, which is more than needed to clean my inlaw's smallish pool. The charging dock is convenient, and the battery life indicator on the app is handy. Speaking of apps, it is quite simple but functional, requires wifi to function (the app, that is). However, note that it's not necessary to install the app to get the machine working, as the machine can function & clean on its own, simply use the buttons on top of the machine. On the app, you can also select between two cleaning modes, and it actually keep logs of the cleaning records. However, what's missing is that you can't remotely control the machine through the app, including interrupting the clean cycle, which I had wanted to do as I needed to leave to do some other work during mid-cycle.

The Beatbot AquaSense cordless pool vacuum does an impressive job of cleaning the floor, walls, and even the waterline without needing constant attention. The intelligent path optimization helps it cover the pool efficiently instead of wandering randomly, and being cordless makes setup and use super convenient. It handles both above-ground and in-ground pools with ease, leaving the water looking clear and inviting. A solid investment for anyone who wants less work and more swim time.

Got this in, love the physical unit. It seems to be built out of high quality material. The rubber cleaning paddles are strong, they're not breaking off any time soon. Beyond that, I dunno. I've been at trying to get the app installed so I could review it for 20 minutes and as if right now I've been unsuccessful. The qr code didn't work. It took tme to a page that had a download button that didn't download. Ok, I went to Google play and got it there. It asked me for country and I had to register. For a pool cleaner? No. I shouldn't have to provide this info to get the pool cleaned. Tried to connect the app and the unit. Tondo that, you have to disengage from your wifi/internet and connect to the unit. This is bizarre, my phone doesn't get Internet when it's connected. The unit didn't go into wifi discovery mode. Ok, there's a manual override that does that. Then it tried to connect and goes into a three minute countdown....and didn't connect. Ok, turns out I had an error in my Wi-Fi password. But it doesn't tell you that it can't connect, it just goes into that three minute countdown while I sit there not realizing there's an error. It should just tell.me the password is wrong. After a few times of that, I got my password correct. Tried again....and I'm back to the three minute countdown with no connection. I'm sure it's a great machine if I can actually get the app connected. Given the price point I'll be spending more time on it but I shouldn't be 20 minutes in, frustrated, and an app that's not connected.
