1. Fast delivery by Amazon. Amazing. 2. Good packaging. Wire is nicely wound up on spool. 3.Good transparent shielding, with clear black marking on one side. 4. Length and gauge of wire appears as per specs. Very low resistance. Material appears to be multi-braided Copper. I measured with a multimeter for the entire length along each conductor. Suitable for audio system, I used approximately 45 feet each to connect my Taga Harmony Azure B-40 speaker set in a large room as surround pair, the sound is just bliss. 5. Recommended for high quality audio system.

THOUGHTS: ============================================================================= A very good repacement for the stock ones wire that comes with most of the budget Home theaters. I personally used in HT-IV300 Sony Home theater and i wouldn't lie about this the sound quality does increases but not that like wow with the ghoos bumps, but yes there is a noticable difference in the sound as it can take high wattage sound easily. My opinion yes its worth getting hands on it but only when you feel the wire of the stocks one is short and you need every bit of performance from your Home theater or speaker system.

I got the 100 ft cable for my Home theater, it was really a worthy cable. Great value for the price you pay and great audio quality with this cable. All my 6 speakers connected from my 5.1 Amplifier through this cable has good effect and sound with no audio lag. Highly recommended

I bought this to hook up my 2 surround speakers to the home theater system. Quality seems to be very good, thickness of wire is appropriate and insulation is also ok. Wire is also quite flexible. The speakers had 4 ohm impedance, but the sound output seems to be fine. No idea if its actually OFC or not, but it sure has a copper look to it (maybe plated). Overall good value for money

Used this product for a basic SQL audio setup in my car. The build quality for a 16AWG wire at this price point is amazing. Sound quality is also nothing to complain about as there are no hisses or distortion at higher volumes. Running this wire with 2 amplifiers and they pair well. All in all great product for the price 👍

The delivery was insanely quick even in these circumstances. I got the product the very next day. I think they must've had it in the local warehouse. Anyway, coming to the cable; nothing extraordinary to write home about. 16 guage copper wire insulated in an apprx 1-1.5mm thick clear plastic casing, wrapped over a plastic drum. Seems durable enough. I found the individual copper strands to be rather thin and weak coz they came off while splicing the cable. Coming to the audio quality; its good enough. Nothing great, nothing bad either. For the price I paid for the 100ft cable its pretty acceptable. Definitely usable for home theater use and secondary systems. Wouldn't recommend this for your main/reference setup though.

Attaching a picture of a 1sq mm wire (black) vs the speaker wire that i have received from Amazon . The quality is good . However seems like one wire resistance is a little more than the other wire as because one wire is a little thicker than another one. But that's definitely not an issue for me! I used it in my 5.1 setup. Writing flawlessly

Ho comprato questo cavo Amazon Basics per collegare i miei altoparlanti e devo dire che ha fatto un ottimo lavoro. La lunghezza di 30,48 metri è perfetta per impianti audio anche di grosse dimensioni, quindi non ho avuto problemi a coprire tutta la stanza senza dover ccreare giunzioni con altri cavi. Il calibro 16 è abbastanza spesso per garantire una buona qualità del suono, riducendo al minimo le interferenze e assicurando una trasmissione chiara e stabile. La qualità del materiale è buona, la guaina è resistente e il cavo sembra davvero durare nel tempo. La cosa che apprezzo di più è che è un cavo che fa il suo lavoro senza troppi fronzoli, è semplice ma fa esattamente quello che promette. Non ci sono problemi di surriscaldamento o distorsioni, il suono è sempre nitido e pulito. Se hai bisogno di un cavo lungo e affidabile per il tuo impianto audio, questo di Amazon Basics è sicuramente un acquisto che vale la pena. PS: Penso sia superfluo ma è meglio specificare, la recensione è esclusivamente personale e non ho utilizzato il cavo per un impianto professionale, so bene che per alcuni prodotti è necessario acquistare dei cavi di altra fattura e caratura, io l ho utilizzato per un impianto casalingo per il quale avevo la necessità di spostare le casse e il cavo che avevo era troppo corto.
