BluePhlare Gas Safety Device Home LPG Domestic Cylinder

I purchased this product in November 2016. It is July 2020 and this product is still working like a charm. We replace 1 cylinder every month, so you can imagine how many cylinders we have changed with this. Gas safety is a big issue, this is a recommended product for everyone. When I bought it this was the only one available, now there are a few others. But I trust this one as they have been running on Amazon alone for years now!

It does not switches off gas automatically if the flame goes off accedentally and gas going on coming out through the burners.

This seems like a good safety device to have if you use LPG which is why I got it. Unfortunately the part which fits inside regulator ( top part) is slightly larger than the hole on the regulator. So could not use it. The build quality looks adequate for the price. The key detail missing on the product page ( in hindsight ) is that the inlet and outlet diameter is not mentioned. I assumed that this one is a universal fit. But its not. I spoke o my Gas Agency which is a private agency ( Its not one of HP, BP, Indane and so on) and the guy told me that the regulator hole sizes come in only two sizes and most public agencies like ( HP , BP, Indane) all use one size. And all the private agencies use a smaller size. So if you use one of the public ones you can use this product. I had purchased this product on Nov 2018 from Amazon through Gas Secura distribution channel. This product worked for 4 month and later stopped working. It is a defective product. I tried to contact the numbers given but of no use. They I went to their website and contacted a number and a lady picked the phone and transferred to My Deepak who asked to share the video to his WhatsApp no . I texted multiple times to get the replacement but there is no response. This seems to be a inferior product as well not recommended. I have uploaded the video as well. Recommend not to buy irelse you will loose your money.

Its really a very good LPG Safety Devise made of brass with a pleasing yellow color paint on the body and a multicolor dial. It works as shown in the demo video and I like it. Its dial shows the quantity of gas in the cylinder so that we can monitor the gas position and book a refill cylinder in time before the cylinder in use gets exhausted. I think this is a must have product for all households but cost factor appears detrimental for all to purchase it. A small hitch in it is that every time the valve of the safety device is opened to light the stove along with the valve in the usual regulator, we have to press the dial knob to start the gas flow as otherwise the stove cant be lighted. But I don't think it is much of a problem and I hope the manufacturer considers to lower the price a bit and rectify the small hitch I have pointed out.

Following are my conclusions - 1) Superb product in preventing leakages. Last cylinder i used had a minor leakage. Without it but with regulator strong smell was coming. But this product totally controlled the leakage and no smell was coming. I also tested other leakages and gas secura cut off the line every time. 2) I also found gas secura saved at least 10-20% of gas. 3) The pressure dial precisely measures the amount of gas contained in cylinder. This indeed helps when to order a new gas. 4) It also helps gas regulator to be fit properly with gas secura. This is helpful in cases when regulator fails to fit directly on some cylinders. 5) The gas secura's safety cut off valve immediately cuts off gas line if suddenly gas stove is shut on. This prevents major accident. This product has build a lot of confidence regarding safety. I really feel safe now for my family. I strongly recommend this product for everyone who love their family safety and wants accident free life.

Very innovative tech! Now that we all feel secure the way it cuts off for safety. And also the gas cylinder lasted for a 43 days while it used to give us for a month!! Sure to recover my payback 😀

I purchased this product after impressed with the video explaining its usage. But after installation, found continuous gas smell emanating from the cylinder kept below the kitchen slab, because of minor leak; returned the product.
