Best for beginners

This Little Sewing machine is really easy to use and setup. It gives you Relaxation to stitch anything you want. It has many tools given with product to use in daily life and easy to handle. You can stitch Satin to jeans with this Product. If you have thicker fabric then you have to face some problems. Fabric thickness isn't affect your skills. You can surely buy this.

I'm very much a novice at sewing but this machine is easy to setup and use. The instructions are a bit vague, but there are plenty of YT videos available to give you a better feel of how it operates. I use this for alterations and it plows through a denim hem without hesitation. The threading and bobbin loading are very straightforward and the multiple stitches it sews, are easy to set up. I'm very pleased with this machine.

Llevamos utilizando SINGER en la familia desde 1890 aproximadamente... desde mi abuelo, hasta el día de hoy pasando por las maquinas industriales a pedal, o las florencia hogareñas... y este modelo Heavy Duty es el balance perfecto. Esta es la segunda heavy duty que compramos, antes teníamos la 4423 que tiene menos puntadas... y decidimos sumar este modelo y de paso tener más funciones. La máquina es excelente tanto para denim como para telas más livianas, la capacidad de costura es excelente, y muy cómoda de usar. Tiene muy buena velocidad de costura y el sonido del sistema al momento de la costura es agradable y bastante silencioso dentro de lo que puede ser una máquina semi-industrial. La verdad la recomendamos totalmente y así como ya la hemos vuelto a comprar, sin dudas lo haríamos más veces en caso de necesitarlo.

Download the manual when you order it. It doesn't come with the product. My old heavy duty one was being serviced and taking longer than expected. I had stuff to finish so was eagerly awaiting delivery of the upgraded one. I downloaded the manual the day it arrived and stressed myself out regarding the printer instead of zooming off and completing my project. That said I love this machine. But it doesn't like cheap needles so get Singer ones. Worth every penny.
