I purchased the Le Gear Face Mask Pro+ and found it very comfortable and useful. The material is soft with a good 4-way stretch, making it easy to wear for long rides and outdoor activities. It protects well from dust, wind, and sun, and fits nicely without feeling too tight. The quality feels durable, and it’s great for biking, cycling, and even daily use. Overall, a good product for the price.

Let me start off by saying that I barely travel by cars and most of the times, I commute and go on long rides on my bikes. I've used a cotton skull cap before that came with my Vega modular helmet I had bought years ago. Long story short, I was finding it increasing frustrating and inconvenient to wear a helmet all the time because of the sweat and hair loss; especially during summers. A balaclava was an urgent requirement. Although I'm new to a face mask that covers your entire head, I'm not new to analyzing the quality of a material on which I lay my hands. MY REVIEW (based on a single, night / noon ~550 Kms bike ride with the mask ON): --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) APPEARANCE: ------------------------------- The product looks exactly as advertised here (additional pictures shared with this review). Personally, I would have loved it more if it didn't look like a two pieced mask that it is. It kinda looks weird, or may be I'm not used to it yet. Other than that, it looks decent and I can live with it. 2) QUALITY: ----------------------- Made of a good, stretchable material (probably Nylon / Spandex combo), it seems durable and fits my large head perfectly. Although, it is a bit uncomfortable when I cover my nose (the same as in the pic) because of its elastic property. This isn't much of a problem when I'm wearing my helmet over it but otherwise, I feel like sliding it all the way under my chin to breathe comfortably, which is also very easy to do. There are no loose ends when it comes to stitching and it is perfect all-round. I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts in its current condition. 3) FIT: ------------- I have a large head ("L" sized helmets fit my head comfortably) and this balaclava fits my head perfectly; snug fit and there's hardly any discomfort even when I wear a helmet. In fact, I don't feel very comfortable wearing it without helmet when I'm the pillion rider and have to go on a bike ride on a sunny afternoon, not because of the looks but because of its snug fit that presses against my big nose. Yes, large head and a big nose (LOL). The mask covers my forehead with the right amount of gap above my eye-brows (adjust to your preference) and from the bottom, it covers as much as you prefer; usually below your eyes (adjust to your preference). Additionally, the length of the mask if such that you can cover your neck by tucking the material under the collar in the back and wear a jacket so it stays that way. On the front, it covers up to the upper chest area and wearing a jacket covers it easily. 4) FEEL - WITH / WITHOUT HELMET: ----------------------------------------------------------------- When you don't wear a helmet with this on your face, it does fine when you ride a bike at speeds below 80 Kmph. Anything over that and you feel like you are wearing something cold on your face because the wind will cool it up. What makes it not suitable for helmet-less high speed rides is the fact that the wind will slide the mask from above the forehead and sends it back on your head. It may not be so if you have a larger head and is a tight fit. If you are a pillion rider wearing this to protect yourself from wind / sun, it still does a decent job at it! With helmet ON, it couldn't be more perfect! The breathable fabric makes riding a breeze even when you are wearing a full faced helmet, no matter the wind speeds. I couldn't feel much sweat even when I was riding my bike on a very hot afternoon, which is why this product is great! 5) PRICING: ---------------------- I bought this on a "Lightening deal" and it cost me a little under Rs. 200/-, which was a great deal for a product such as this one; worth every rupee! CONCLUSION: --------------------------- Go for it without second thoughts if you like how it looks in the pictures. The product quality is fabulous!

Great product! This baraclava meets my needs and expectations. It is comfortable to breath and wear. The quality of the material is good. Even after washing it several times, it hasn't lost it elasticity. From this, I can tell this is a durable product. PROS: ===== 1. Prevents skin and hair contact within the helmet. 2. Protects the face and neck from dust, pollution and sun. 3. Made of durable and good quality material. CONS: ===== 1. It isn’t the best in filtering finer dust or pollution particles. 2. Makes you sweat a bit if you wear it in an idle state. (No issues while riding.) It does a decent job of preventing dust from being directly inhaled by me and that was what I was exactly looking for. There may be better options in the market but they will cost a lot. So for the money I put, I am really happy with this product and I can recommend this product without any hesitation! If you are looking for a face mask to complement your helmet, this is the best within this price range (I got it for Rs. 230/- during a lightning deal) on Amazon to my knowledge as at the time of writing this review. UPDATE AS ON 10/11/2024 ====================== It's been 7 years since I bought this baraclava and I am happy to tell you that this product is perfectly fine despite using and washing it multiple times!

Pros: 1. Protects the face from dust. 2. Breathable fabric. 3. Effectively covers the major portion of the face. 4. Quite elastic. 5. Looks good Cons: 1. After the first hand wash, the elastic near the neck areas has loosen a bit, hence the fitting is not that good now, at the bottom of the mask. 2. The elastic line which comes over the nose, will leave a red mark on the skin. You need to adjust it time to time to avoid that red rash over the nose. 3. If you've acne prone skin, or oily skin, the mask will worsen it. But I guess any other mask will do the same. Overall, it is a decent product and I got it for 180 under lightning deal. I feel, it's worth that price. Peace :)
