100% tie off, Great.
Light weight, the retraction doesn’t feel like it’s trying to drag you back over the fall zone. Really helps to keep 100% tie off on the job site.

Well made lanyard, does not include harness. Understand it's mechanics/limitations before using.
My lanyard is different that the double that is shown for the product now. I have a single lanyard. After a zipline accident I had, I learned that there is an important thing to consider when buying carabiners and harness equipment; know the difference between static weight and dynamic weight. (Quickly: Static weight is what you weigh, dynamic weight is the force your weight exerts in motion. Same but with more words: Static weight is the actual weight of an object when it is at rest and not subject to external forces such as motion, acceleration, or vibration. It represents the constant, steady force exerted by the object, such as a loaded pallet sitting on the warehouse floor or a vehicle parked with cargo on its roof. In contrast, dynamic weight includes additional forces generated by movement, such as acceleration, braking, turning, or road conditions, which can significantly increase the effective load on a structure. For example, a 100-pound load on a vehicle roof has a static weight of 100 pounds when stationary, but dynamic forces during driving can multiply this effective weight, making the dynamic capacity of a roof rack typically much lower than its static capacity. This difference is critical in applications ranging from vehicle roof racks to pallet load ratings and industrial equipment, where dynamic loads often require more conservative design considerations due to added stresses from motion.) Since this is a fall arrestor, you want to consider its ability to not just hold you, but to withstand the force of your weight falling against gravity, or possibly being carried by something you are holding in your hand as you fall. There is a very extensive manual included with this lanyard that describes how to use it safely. I’m including pictures of it all so you can evaluate whether this is the correct solution for you. I have friends who are ironworkers and I don’t have the knowledge of the demands of their safety equipment to say whether I can recommend this product for something like that, so read the booklet images and make that determination for yourself. The lanyard itself says "ANSI 2359 Recognizes the use of this lanyard only within the capacity range of 130-310lbs." The carabiner is weighted to 5680lbs. There are safety features such as locking components on both opening parts of the clips. The lanyard feeds out 6 feet of webbing, but will arrest if you pull too hard (like a seatbelt you can lean forward, but if you go to fast it will lock). Keep in mind, since the length of the lanyard is 6', and you have height you add, there is a minimum distance that this is effective (if you fall 5 feet this will not catch you). I am not in construction, but got this to keep me clipped to my sailboat in heavy seas. It gives me just enough length to reach my sheets and everything in the cockpit, but to keep me on board if I get knocked off my feet or slip in a big wave.

Rock-Solid Fall Protection Lifeline – Built Like a Tank, I'd Stake My Life on It!
As someone who's spent years working at heights in construction and tinkering with climbing setups, finding gear you can truly trust isn't easy. The UIANSP 6' Twin-Leg Self-Retracting Lifeline (ANSI Class A SRL) has quickly become my go-to for jobsite safety, and after putting it through real-world paces, I can say without hesitation: this is a good piece of kit, exceptionally well-built, and one I'd absolutely trust my life with. Right off the bat, the twin-leg design with no-tangle swivel connectors is a game-changer—no more frustrating knots or restrictions while moving around scaffolding or harness points. The 6-foot retractable lifeline deploys smoothly with just the right tension, snapping back instantly without slack that could lead to trips. Setup is straightforward: clip the alloy steel swivel hook to your harness D-ring, attach the two twist-lock karabiners to anchors, and you're secured. It's ANSI-rated for peace of mind, and the dual anti-fall arrestors add that extra layer of reliability for dynamic loads up to 310 lbs. What stands out most is the build quality—everything from the durable nylon webbing to the heavy-duty zinc-plated steel components feels premium and over-engineered for abuse. I've hauled it up ladders, dragged it across rough surfaces, and subjected it to daily inspections, and it shows zero signs of wear after months of use. The rotating top swivels prevent twists, keeping the lifeline taut and tangle-free, which is crucial when you're focused on the task at hand, not your gear. At around $100, it's a steal compared to big-name brands that charge double for similar specs. Whether you're a pro roofer, a weekend climber, or just prepping for that high-reach home project, this SRL delivers pro-level protection without the fuss. It's comfortable, responsive, and engineered to save your skin when it counts. If safety gear is your lifeline (pun intended), grab this—it's earned my full trust and a permanent spot in my kit. Highly recommended!

Safety and Peace of Mind
6’ Twin-Leg [NO Tangle] Self Retracting Lifeline ANSI Class A SRL Rebar Hooks Shock Absorber Roofing Construction Personal Fall Arrest Protection This listing has changed from a single unit to 'Twin-Leg'. What I ordered and received is a single unit. I ordered this SRL for personal use to help me navigate my two-story roof with more security. As I’ve gotten older, I find that I value a reliable safety net, and this equipment provides exactly the boost in confidence I needed. The rebar hooks are sturdy, and the self-retracting mechanism is smooth, ensuring there’s never any dangerous slack while I move. I certainly didn't fully test this unit but it appears to be a robust, well-made piece of gear that makes a daunting task feel much more manageable.
