Strictly ok... Doesn't taste anything like the famous tirumala temple tamarind rice or the Iyengar home cooked puliogora .... But for non South Indians, a good quick easy meal option..only need to mix a spoonful with cooked rice (you can cook rice in the cooker) and you are all set to have a warm delicious comfort meal for supper. Have it with some pickle and yoghurt on the side.
