U.S. Divers Diva Women Snorkel Set, Ladies Silicone Mask, Trek Travel Fins, Dry Top Snorkel + Snorkeling Gear Bag - Purple - Small

My husband purchased this snorkeling set for me as a Christmas present to take on our cruise to the Carribean this summer, so I had to test it out in our spa tub-how funny is that?!! Anyway...it seems like it will be a great set. I got the hot pink/black set and the color was such a pretty, vibrantly hot pink that it can be seen from outer space. I will be easy to spot, and that will be a good thing. Now my hubby can relax a little, Bless his Heart.The mask is perfect for my face type...I have a narrow face, and it molds very well. The best part is - zero leakage. The glass/plastic in the lenses is so clear and the side view is fantastic. The quick release straps on the side of the mask are wonderfully easy to use. I think I am going to purchase a snorkel strap, though, because the clip it comes with doesn't seem like it would work very well when you're in choppier ocean waters. I'm afraid it will keep coming off without a better strap.The snorkel itself is worth the price of the set. It keeps water out, and really is dry. The mouthpiece isn't overly large, and is very comfortable. Your lips are not distorted or pushed out at all, and the mouth forms naturally around it. My only slight complaint is again, the cheap clip to attach the snorkel to the mask.The fins are super. Just the perfect length for packing. I like the shorter length because they are easier to walk in, and you can get in closer to the corals without damaging them. I ordered a size Medium (size 8-11) and the fit around the toe area seems a little narrow and tight, but that is because I have very thick feet, and for someone with "normal" feet they would be perfect. To combat this issue I purchased half booties to prevent blisters. Now they fit very comfortably and I don't have to worry about sore toes/lower foot rubbing. The heel straps seem very sturdy, however, the pin system used to hold them in place has me a little nervous...they seem sort of flimsy, but with a little care putting them on and removing them I'm sure they will be fine.The travel bag is the icing on the cake. Everything fits in there neatly, and there is even a place for the mask. The bag seems like it will hold up very well. All in all, I think this set is awesome, and I can't wait to use it this summer.

My previous experience with snorkeling has always been with rented gear. I've never owned my own equipment before. After owning this, I certainly never want to rent equipment again. The quality difference is ridiculously apparent. So, if you just want the bottom line, I can't possibly recommend this set enough. If you want more detail, read on.Bag: Excellent carry case with both a handle at the top and a strap you can sling over your back. Holds the equipment that comes with this set, plus my neoprene socks and snorkel life vest perfectly. Is breathable so that wet stuff stored in it won't get smelly or moldy during travels from the beach to home. It also fit in our carry on luggage which was very convenient.Mask: Fits beautifully. I didn't have to constantly clear it like I've had to do with rental masks in the past. Easy to use straps. Feels comfortable on. No issue with visuals.Fins: Comfortable for me. Shorter and slightly wider than full size fins, but that didn't bother me at all. I felt like I got plenty of movement from them. That said, I've snorkeled without fins many times in the past too, so any type of fin is a bonus for me. Your mileage may vary. I didn't experience any rubbing, chafing, discomfort, or blisters from them like I have from other fins. However, I did have my neoprene socks on when I wore them and the lack of those issues could have been due to the socks.Snorkel: I had no prior experience with a submersible snorkel. These things are AWESOME! I snorkeled in more than one location with crazy big waves (I was in Hawaii) that went over my snorkel and the water didn't come inside. I dove down just slightly a few times as well. Again, no water came inside. I never once, in 5 snorkeling sessions that totaled between 6 to 8 hours of snorkeling, breathed in water or had to take the snorkel out of my mouth to clear water out of it. If any water came in at all, it was unnoticeable from an actual breathing standpoint. At most, I could hear a little gurgling now and then. When I heard that sound, I'd take a deep breath and then blow out hard to clear it and that worked like a charm. I can't possibly express how impressed I am with this snorkel. It is absolutely the best snorkel I've ever used.Cons: Not a single one that I can think of. I don't think this set could be any more perfect for me.Highly recommend.

Purchased this for a spring break trip to Aruba. Handy size for travel, and the gear bag was a nice extra. I have a small face, and the mask fit great - absolutely NO leaking. No trouble with the snorkel either. The dry-top feature didn't keep the water out completely, but since I've done a lot of snorkeling without that feature, I didn't really care. Fins are nice size for travel and functioned fine. I'd want more substantial fins for SCUBA diving, but they worked well for snorkeling. I have narrow feet, and I felt like they would have fit fine even if my feet were normal width. I wore short socks for added comfort (since I'd sunburned the tops of my feet the day before), and there was still ample room. (One side note: my husband used the men's version of this same set, and the plastic fin buckle broke within an hour. To be fair, he has wide feet (E), and the fins were uncomfortably tight on him from the beginning. He's also a somewhat aggressive kicker when snorkeling. I called U.S. Divers, and they're putting a replacement buckle in the mail. It's important to know that the plastic buckle can only take so much stress though.)

So far so good... it is an Xmas gift.. it looks great. nicely packaged,, arrived fast!

ミニサイズのフィンが欲しくて購入しました。ケースが肩掛けタイプなので、便利そうです。耐久性がもっとあればさらにいいかと思います。

I brought two of these for my daughters trip to Egypt, they came back and said they snorkelled everyday on the coral reefs and the equipment was superb, no leaks on the mask or problems whatsoever. My eldest freedived with this equipment with an instructor and again it performed superbly. Also the diving snorkel again was a superb doing its job when they swam deeper. Great product at a good price which is well worth buying.

Strap not working properly. Fins very inflexible. Not for me. Sorry. Lovely colour though.........have had to return them to the supplier.

Nett anzuschauenes Schnorchelset und durchaus zufriedenstellend (perfekt!)beim Schnorcheln! Beim Tauchen hielt die Brille leider bei steigendem Druckbeim Ausatmen nicht dicht und ließ oft Wasser hinein.
