Easy and quick to make, with a strong kick of spice and delicious curry flavor. It can be a bit sweet, so I typically add just a bit of salt, and you'd do well to use less water than recommended, just enough to cover the tteokbokki if you want it more like a sauce. if you're a spice wimp as i often am, you can even halve the seasoning you put in (it's a lot of seasoning) and/or add a few splashes of milk at the end to give it a nice creaminess and cool the spice just a touch.
