Fantastic Unit For the Price!
I've owned this for nearly two months. If a measure of how well you like something is how often you use it, I've used mine at least 20 times so far, which is quite a bit. I mostly cook roasted vegetables in it, with a variety of seasoning, but have also made a grilled cheese sandwich, french fries, and other things. It works quite well, every single time. Cooking things perfectly with very little oversight or effort. As others have noted it's very simple to use. Put food in it, cook, eat, clean. Maybe not quite that simple, but almost. I've tried marinading things, adding oil, various seasoning, skipping oil, and it handles all of it well. If I were to advise anyone buying an air fryer, know that with many recipes, you're going to have to flip/toss/move the food around every 5-10 minutes (many recipes are 20 minutes and under). A very small inconvenience. Even if you didn't do this, the food would still likely turn out okay. As others have noted, this is ridiculously easy to clean. 2 minutes in the sink with a sponge and you're good. I suppose you could put it in a dishwasher, but it's ridiculously easy to clean by hand. The recipe book that comes with it is very minimal. There are many more out there, or many recipes online. Or, just experiment!

Perfect and Affordable Air Fryer
This air fryer is great! It is fairly easy to clean and was easy to use. I was worried when the base didn’t fully come apart like my last one, but the insert coming out helps a lot! It has been perfect for cooking and everything comes out PERFECT! You can’t beat the price tag. Lastly, it’s a bit wider than I anticipated, but it still saves a lot of counter space compared to the giant ones with all the bells and whistles. I was not using my big fancy one so I gave it to friends who will. They gave me their little one and it died recently, so this was an easy upgrade! It’s perfect if your space is tight or you only need the air fryer feature. I could also see this used easily by a responsible child and much safer than an oven and having to remember to shut it off. Having worked with special needs population, this could be a very easy one to teach them and understand. I honestly leave it on 400F and cook everything at that temp. Except fish. Only thing you need to know is the time!

Fast and easy meals
I live alone so this compact size is perfect for me. It makes restaurant level fries, sweet potato chips and nuggets so easy. I also use it for stuffed peppers, crab cakes and other small meal items. I recommend getting parchment liners for the basket. Clean up is just a simple wipe with a paper towel. I love that it comes in colors to match my decor as well.

Small quite air fryer.
This is a good unit, just a little too small for our use. It is very quiet and compact in size. We have ordered a much larger air fryer from Amazon that is supposed to deliver tomorrow. We will be returning this one. Works great, just too small.

Good Choice for Singles
Only had for a week, used four times. So far, am loving it. Came from using the Ninja Foodi Grill air fryer, the darn thing was so heavy and large, I wanted a smaller and more convenient option after my husband died, because I did not want to use it, he was the machine operator! This air fryer was described in an article by a well known print and digital consumer reporting magazine, as a recommended option. I felt like it was worth trying. Opted for the regular non-stick model because I planned to use parchment in the basket to make cleanup easier and preserve the non-stick coating, as well as the cost difference between it and the ceramic model. I've since learned I may want to try the perforated parchment, what I bought is not perforated, so am curious about air flow differences. Also discovered a hack stating that placing the non-perforated liner baskets in the very bottom of the fryer, under the perforated crisper tray works. I have not tried that yet. Pros for me are the unit's small size and weight, handle on top, QUIET operation (actually thought it wasn't working until I began to smell the food!). Being used to the noise of the Foodi, this quietness was a pleasant shock. Also pre-heating is not a requirement, (but recommended) depending on food choices. Since it is not required, there is no ready made pre-heat setting, but I think you could easily program one of the three available preset options for that purpose. I've only done frozen potstickers and frozen chicken wing parts so far, both with and without oil. I chose olive oil delivered via a fine spray mister. Still have more to experiment with, but with & without oil, with & without parchment basket liners, I saw no difference in crispness. The frozen chicken wing parts will not be something I purchase again though, as they are so full of water, that cooking them from a frozen state results in a swimming pool of liquid and does not yield anything crisp. Recommend thawing those and making sure to use pressure and paper towels to squish wetness out before cooking. Anxious to try "fresh" (non-frozen) wings instead. All in all, this feels like a quality unit, that if used properly should do the trick for my purposes. I do feel like the instructions could be a bit more detailed, I prefer an easy to reference chart, which is shown, but is split onto two pages in the manual. A special note, if you register your air fryer, Dash adds an additional year to the warranty. We shall see how that works out!

Looks cute on the countertop! Works Great!
LUV this little air fryer! Stays on the counter, as it's used at least twice a week. As a single retiree in So Florida, it's great because you don't heat up the whole kitchen. Easily makes small meals. Easy to clean! Use spray canola oil to prevent sticks, and let it soak in sudsy water for about an hour, then use a soft plastic scrub pad. Careful for the tiny black tabs slipping off! You get used to figuring out what temp and for how long. Easy Peasy!

Excellent choice if you lack of counter space
Absolutely love it. It is compact, save counter space and it does an excellent job. I originally purchased the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer, it worked well, but it is just too big, I have to store it in the garage after each use.

Met my rather modest expectations until it suddenly stopped working.
Although I found the air fryer somewhat too small, only able to air fry one pork chop or one hamburger patty at a time, it did perform pretty much as expected, until it suddenly stopped working completely. The last time I was going to air fry some chicken, the control panel lit up briefly as I plugged it in to one of my kitchen outlets, immediately went dark, failing to start. After trying different kitchen outlets, that were working perfectly for both my microwave and toaster, it was clear that the problem was with the Dash air fryer being, and not with my kitchen electrical outlets. After making multiple attempts to determine the cause of it’s sudden failure ( removing and re-inserting the frying drawer and manually depressing the two switches that are tripped when the frying drawer is inserted into the air fryer, it became clear that this air fryer was unrepairable by me. Purchased in October of 2023, I can’t help but think it should have lasted longer. Whatever manufacturers warranty it came with, had expired and I now owned an all plastic, non functional air fryer that was only taking up cabinet space. My question now was should I purchase another air fry, and if I do, should I purchase another one manufactured by Dash? The decision to buy another air fryer was simple. Yes, after using one for a period of time, not having an air fryer was out of the question. My next decision of whether to buy another Dash air fryer took a bit longer. Did I want a fryer that was almost completely made of plastic, did I want an air fryer that would only fit one hamburger patty or one chicken thigh or pork chop again? Did I have the confidence that another Dash air fryer would outlast the one that just suddenly failed to work? My answer to those questions to myself was obvious, the plastic construction, small frying compartment and its sudden demise all told me, don’t buy another Dash air fryer. After checking the assortment of air fryers available on Amazon, and reading customer reviews of the ones that I was interested in, I ordered a replacement for my non functional Dash that has a larger fryer basket, mostly metal construction, a fryer drawer with a window and a digital display for setting temperature and frying time, plus several pre programmed temperature frying times for popular items such as chicken, fish, beef and pork. Plus it has an audible reminder when the items being cooked should be either flipped over or the basket should be shaken. Another feature that drew me to this particular air fryer was a feature that increased the temperature for the last two minutes of frying time, to crisp whatever I might be cooking, if I chose to use that option. It also has frying basket twice the size of my now non functional Dash fryer. And here’s the final thing that sold me on this particular air fryer, it’s less expensive than the Dash it’s replacing, even though it’s more feature packed and will hold constant considerably more items than my non functional Dash. Using the Dash air fryer introduced me to air frying, it’s replacement is going to make the air frying process easier and hopefully will last longer than just two years.
