Well worth the price

This is a fun way to collect the series. Nice size box and fun to give as a gift.

I was wrong with this with my first review and am now editing. The little "toys" in their packages are super cute and we love them. It just started off not the best with the unopenable, branded surprise ball. The other ones are fantastic. Old review: I think we must be the only ones who found it mildly disappointing but my kiddo says "It's okay," as in "don't worry, mom, I like it." I should have continued the tradition of getting a LEGO Advent Calendar which is magical for the holidays and you get to put things together. I think maybe we're just not the right niche. Also, adding any sort of holiday cheer with the packaging, etc., is really nice and I miss that. My fault. If your kid likes toys that resemble packaging that you can't open, then they might like it a lot. It might be nice for pretend play.

I anticipated it being a better experience. But the minis are just loose inside their individual holes. No blind bag or even tissue paper. The quality of the minis is well below normal quality, it is as if they just threw all their minis that didn't make it pass quality control into a bin to put in the calendar. There is no rarity chart to consult. Nothing Holiday Themed. The box shows all different types of minis, food, toys etc. But out of 17 days it is all toys. Imo it isn't worth the money. Very disappointing considering I usually really enjoy opening mini brands surprise balls. Only positive so far is no repeat items yet.
