I finally ditched the old lead-acid battery in my 2005 Jeep TJ and bought this AGM battery. What a great upgrade this was! I’m aware of the advantages of an AGM battery, as I’ve used them in my 1-ton diesel for over 20 years. My truck is currently on its second pair of Optima yellow tops. My first set of them lasted for 14 years. Yes. 14 years! If I get anywhere even close to half of that lifespan with this battery, I’ll be ecstatic. I bought this battery on sale from Amazon for less money than any of its lead-acid equivalents and considering an Optima yellow top is two and a half times the price, this is a fantastic deal! I received the battery a full week ahead of the projected delivery date and it was delivered without as much as a single blemish on the heavy cardboard shipping box! It looked as though it was placed in its shipping box just five minutes before delivery. That’s completely unheard of for something as heavy as an automobile battery! Usually heavy items get pretty badly banged around during transport. Well done, FedEx!!! It also arrived carrying a full charge. 👍 Installation was straightforward and easy and I immediately noticed an increase in power with this battery. My starter turns much faster now than it ever did before. Even faster than when my old lead-acid battery was new. 👍 Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this battery and I highly, highly recommend it as an upgraded replacement for your tired, old lead-acid battery!!! 😄

It works, it fits perfectly into a very small battery compartment, the price is right, and the old one doesn't have to be returned for core charge credit. The vehicle is a BMW 328i retractable hardtop. It is almost a nightmare to change the battery, as you have to remove several trim pieces inside the luggage compartment, and then you are faced with a myriad of wiring, wiring connectors, and plastic pieces to secure the various parts on top of the battery. You have to remove the battery hold-down before you can remove the battery (which weighs over 60 pounds) without damaging the wiring or anything else. It's a good thing the battery has two pivoting handles. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to lift it out. Once you lower the battery into the compartment, you then have to replace the hold-down to the tray at the bottom, which is another challenge because there's hardly any room for your fingers and screwdriver. This is not your everyday battery situation, where you can just loosen the terminals and take the battery out. If you took it to an auto parts store which usually handles battery changes, they probably would not want to install it for you, because so much is involved. This one comes with a 3 year warranty, which I assume means they will replace it if it fails within that time period. In any case, so far I'm happy with the results.

This batter was a perfect replacement for my BMW X5 2015 auxiliary battery. Way cheaper than going to BMW for the replacement. Highly recommend.

Previous FoMoCo battery didn’t last 3 years. I bet this Marxon will outlast the engine (2.0 EcoBoost @ 127K).

Do not buy. These batteries have a much shorter than stated lifespan and there is ZERO customer support. If you do manage to get a return authorization you will have to pay return postage yourself for a DEFECTIVE battery. Terrible product and company. It is surprising that these batteries have such a good rating.
