Catastrophic Failure just after warranty - avoid
Projector is good quality in terms of picture when it was working but just a month after the manufacturers 2 year warranty period expired, the main board, extension board and power module all failed. Acer are unable to repair even though I paid £900 for a repair due to no parts available after a 3 month wait. Acer will not offer any assistance here and they say it is reasonable that “wear and tear” like all other electronics happen occurs. I now have a £3.5k house brick and I have been left heavily out of pocket. It appears that almost all parts for this projector are consistently out of stock everywhere so I guess most are discontinued parts, for this reason even if you would be within the warranty I suspect it wouldn’t be repairable
